I have been taking Monopost for a month awaiting possible SLT after my pressures were 25 but as yet no Glaucoma diagnosis.
I am now experiencing terrible ache in my right eye and the veins in the corner are swollen and there is a whitish lump in eye corner & floaters in that eye..... my blood pressure is high.... feel tired and just not myself. My appt is not until 4 May but just wondered if anyone else had this experience?
I am worried and would value feedback . Thanks.

personally I would contact the consultants secretary with your concerns, I did this several times when I was first diagnosed and they saw me and changed my drops. It took several attempts before getting the right drops for me. Good luck hope it all goes well for you.
He says he will see me 8.30 mon morning!! Amazed he got back to me so quick=have to say Dr Alaghband -consultant sounds decent guy-says slt alternative. Eyes really freak me so fingers crossed!!!
If he is the same Dr Alaghband (works at York and Scarborough hospitals?) who did a webinar for Glaucoma UK, he seems very knowledgeable and reassuring. I found that webinar more helpful, supportive and informative than some hospital appointments I’ve had!
Yes thats the guy. i have to say he seems very nice man -not met him yet-the general clinic dont seem that reassuring really. Eyes are so important and you need good advice etc. seeing him Monday.
