I understand that the Abiraterone inhibits the cancer’s ability to create its own
testosterone
. Does the Docetaxel accomplish the same thing? I’m guessing the answer is no, or the Peace1 trial would have given all participants a Abiraterone vacation otherwise.

The AR is important too - growth will not occur if there is no
testosterone
. PCa cells that have ERα, can create the estradiol needed to activate it - from
testosterone
, via the aromatase enzyme. Aromatase has no role in cells until ERα appears.

Hello, dear people!
Strangely, his
testosterone
level was dowm 0,3. We were devastated, this situation scared us, since then we had no peace. His doctor immediately changed his treatment and completed Eligard and Xgeva with Xtady.

chlamydia questions
I got my
testosterone
test and it was good and i got a scrotum ultrasound which was again good. 2.Will there be recovery possible for whatever i'm experiencing slowly as the body recovers over time.? 3.Are there chances that the bacteria is still living in my gut.?

Maddening Contradictory Advice
Latest update on my still hormone sensitive lymph nodes-only but widespread metastatic cancer is the Dexa scan showing I now have Osteopenia (no doubt occasioned by ADT regimen and lack of
Testosterone
).

BAT in the UK: does if officially exist
Given the status of
testosterone
cypionate in most of the EU, desperate stage 4s only option is to navigate the risks of taking fake drugs the are faced by body builders. Many belief that BAT will eventually be SOC but many of us can't wait around for years of trials to get there.

USPSTF Screening guidelines are being updated
So he tested my
testosterone
level for early onset of ED and his conclusion "likely psychological" but did not factor in low libido, low
testosterone
, fatigue and I was in the best shape of my life (46) as I had just biked 3,600 about 4 months before.

[/i]" I started seeing my integrative medicine guy in 2006, because he supported my use of androstenedione to increase
testosterone
. One of the tools he liked to use for new patients was a hair analysis.

Hello, dear People!
Hello, my dears! I have to ask u for some informations because I am very confused. My father îs on Xtandi for 6 months. After the first three months psa came down from 10.87 to 7.15. Yesterday, after another 3 months, his PSA îs 6.87. Stiller very high, I think. I guess it should have go down much more

My 19-year history falls into three phases: i) continuous
testosterone
[T] ii) alternating 3-month periods of ADT & T iii) my version of BAT (LongBAT) - a single T injection every 3 months + oral DES (3mg) days 8-90.

Bone Health issues re:Bisphosphonnates, etc. ????
My PCP is suggesting these, but he's not current with the research about estrogen and
testosterone
use for PCa care. My backstory is that I'm suffering from osteoprosis that has caused four compression fractures at L1, L2, L3 & L4 and at T11 in my spine.

HRT issues - Plus need to hear about experiences with testosterone
I really don't want to add more things to my regime but can people share their experiences with
testosterone
, I understand it comes in a gel? How can I get this? Will I need to see a private gynae?

Should I treat subclinical hypothyroidism
From what I read, there is a consensus that high TSH may negatively affect cholesterol (I have slightly elevated) and
testosterone
(I have on a lower end) and many report improvements on both of those metrics.
