First visit to endo
Hello, So I'm just out of my first visit to an endo. In March 2017 I was tested for the antibodies to thyroid which came back very high so positive result for hashimotos. my tsh and t4 are borderline and wasn't put on medication. I'm getting more bloods today so I can post these when I get them.

Hi. I’d love some help. Iv been hypothyroid for about 15 yrs and on eltroxin but still have all the symptoms. I have found a GP who will prescribe NDT and got my blood results this morning. I will have to wait another week to see the GP and I’m dying to find out what the results mean. If they show everything

Feeling terrible - I am sure I am worse then when first diagnosed
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a year ago during my routine annual checkup, but was reassured that it wasn't that bad and after the six month prescription of Eltroxin 5mg I would be fine and would not even need to be checked again. Believing what I was told, I didnt bother to look into it at all

Levothyroxine brands and pharmacy problems
Well another struggle today this time at the pharmacy. When I was first diagnosed hypothyroid I took eltroxin asking for it on the advice of Dr Peatfield as probably unable to take NDT as I take warfarin (interestingly Hilary Clinton does) the GP's would not have agreed to it. Anyway eltroxin stopped

Thyroidectomy surgery, menopause and thyroid hormone supplements
Hie I am 47 years old. I had thyrodectomy last month during which 4/5 of my thyroid gland was removed. I am now on 50mg of Eltroxin. I will next week be having my first post-operation blood tests. There are days when I feel sick, tightness of my chest particularly the left side. Before the thyroidectomy

Mercury Pharma/Actavis?
Since I was diagnosed in 2011 I have always taken Mercury Pharma Levo. A couple of months ago I discovered that I'd been given something else (as I always get it in bottles). I have just been reading about Teva and wondered if that's what I have been taking and maybe that was the cause of the several
