Why can't I see an endocrinologist !!!?
Hi, I have an under active thyroid & take 125/150 levo alternate days. Also type 2 diabetes, bloated tummy etc. I asked my doctor if I could be referred to an endocrinologist but he told me that they don't do that until they can't do anymore. Has anyone else been told this? I was diagnosed May 2014.

Blood sugar level - My wife
My wife's blood sugar level seems not to decrease in spite of being on drugs like Trajenta 5mg and Amaryl 1. Now I give her a glass of fenugreek soaked water on empty stomach. Is it ok for me continue with it.

Paleo or ketogenic eaters, please help me!
I know perfectly well that I should be eating a low carb, high fat diet. But I just don't seem to be able to get my head around eating this way. As a result I cut out the grains and carbs, and up my veg (and fruit, which I know isn't ideal) but I still remain hungry. How do you up your fat consumption

APO B, Say what?
OK guys, here's a bunch of stuff from Ivor Cummins. Now from my point of view, and I am seriously cogent with the biochemistry, it's a bit much. If you are a researcher getting into the nuts and bolts great, but if someone looking for answers this will put you off. If so, here's what you need to consider

Understanding blood test results
Hi all. After 15 years on levo and constantly suffering from fatigue etc I have pretty much demanded an endo referral. My GP ran some blood tests last week and has sent off the referral. The surgery receptionist has printed off the results for me today. Slightly mystified that there are no thyroid results
