Does anyone else suffer from Achilles Tendonitis?
Does anyone else suffer from Achilles
Tendonitis
? If so how did you overcome it? I was diagnosed with it this time last year and was supposed to start physio for it, but then lockdown was put in place and my appointment was cancelled, so it has gone untreated.

Hamstring injury
I'm miserable. Four weeks ago today I injured my knee. I hadn't done any running for a while, so did lots of walks in the preceding couple of weeks. I do a there and back run down the Cuckoo Trail. So on the day I'd reserved for the first run, I warmed up and did a gentle jog to the outer point, then

Broken ankle, pesky hip - the saga continues
If anyone remembers - I restarted c25k again 3 months ago (re-re-started?) after breaking my ankle, but 3 weeks in, the joint swelled up and I had to stop again. I went back to my NHS physio - luckily they hadn't signed me off - and after some exercises at home she called me in for a face-to face. It's

Feeling like it’s not been worth it
Hi, this isn’t a post to be negative as such but I’m just struggling and wondering if there is anything else I can do. I am 55 years old and over the last year (since the pandemic started) I have walked 4-5 miles a day and also been cycling for 4 months. I thought C25K would be another thing to add to

Ibrutinib and Anti-Inflammatory Medications
Wondering what is recommended for muscle type pain inflammation. Used to use ibuprofen, but no longer due to ibrutinib. Any recommendations will be checked with my MD before use. I have used bio freeze. Considering Voltaren creme but, not to sure about it’s safety profile.

Help for these fingers and an angel drawing
Or
tendonitis
? (Not informed on it) Just wondering if anyone else has had this and what if anything helped. Currently on 11 mg prednisone. Also thought I’d post an angel for some good vibrations. I’ve done about 50 of these postcard size watercolors.

Arch Pain
About 6 years ago, I had
tendonitis
in both feet but after the pain went, I thought I had recovered. However, as of late, the pain in my arches is making me question this. I’ve also heard it could be due to lack of supportive running shoes? But how do I know what support I need.

Compression socks never again!
So I’ve been recovering slowly from posterior tibial
tendonitis
and thought I’d give compression socks a go. I thought they might give me a bit of support and maybe even boost my performance which is slow. I saw an ad on Facebook for stox socks and had a look on trust pilot and took the plunge.

Self-help with nutritional supplements for RLS
I have RLS for about twelve years. I have started with a few restex. It worked great but I read about the augmentation. So I decided to find a better way for me. I startet with homeopathy (zincum valerianicum). It worked for a half year. Then I found CES brain stimulation. this worked also for a half

GENACOL FOR KNEE PAIN is it OK with Blood Thinners ?
My doctor says that it should be OK. The Pharmacist told me to talk to my doctor. There seems to be a lot of passing it on in medicine today !! Is any one else taking it here in the AF community. If so what were you told by your doctors? Does it work for joint pain? What has been your experience? Any

alendronic acid pmr-like side effects
Rheumy thinks I have rotator cuff
tendonitis
, but this new pain coincides with the start of alendronate and has not gotten better with 6 weeks rest and gentle exercise. Pain has caused me to stop tapering the prednisone, so now I seem to be in a nasty feedback loop with the two drugs.

Hi Everyone! :) I thought we could inspire each other to reach our big and small health goals- not necessarily related to Hashi! 1.I'm finally at my ideal weight so maintaining that is my goal number 1 2.My sleep has suffered horribly so improving that is strong runner up! Trying different techniques

Ran Week 7 Run 1
Well, it’s been an adventure so far! I officially ran the 25 minute run yesterday afternoon and felt great. I started running in November but pushed too hard and got an IT Band Syndrome injury ... so had to take it easy, but the couch to 5k app was a great way to start again and now in can run again

Tendonitis recovery time
Morning all. I got to week 7 run1 and was struck with achilles tendinitis on left side. I was absolutely gutted as was enjoying it so much. It was back in September but do get occasional pain when walking still. Should I just go for it and go for a run? And start right back at the beginning of week

Dear Lord! I've done my first 'run' and survived. However I just cannot jog or trot and I did try. There were terrible grindings and 'movements' inside my right knee and my left knee just collapsed. Sooo instead of running I am walking faster. My current 'brisk' walking speed is the treadmill at

Supplements
Hello, Does anyone know of any good supplements I could take alongside the usual medication please ? I’m currently on Benepali which was working really well for me but for the last 8 months I’m struggling with swollen painful feet , I’ve read that turmeric is really good but due to long term anti inflammatory
