18 year old I believe I have phimosis would anyone recommend getting circumcised and what’s the pros and cons please
Can’t retract my foreskin over my gland want to get it checked out by a doctor but because of the lockdown in the UK because of Coronavirus I can’t. I’ve tried doing loads of research into it I was 99% for getting circumcised but the 1% is I’m worried that you lose 80% sensitivity and only have 20% that

Bad pain 7 weeks post circumcision
Hi guys 7 weeks ago I was circumcised and recently I’ve had a bad pain on the right side of the glans.I don’t know if you can see but there is a whitish colour appeared on the bottom of the glans, near the rim. My GP prescribed Trimovate cream and antibiotics and this hasn’t worked. Will this go away

Was wondering if anyone can help me on managing on what I assume is discoid eczema?
So several weeks ago, I would say probably late Feb early March I had an itchy spot on my arm which I scratched. It was nothing but a nuisance spot for a couple of days until it developed in to a perfect circular patch. At first it was the size of a 10p to 50p coin but slowly started growing and expanding

Inflammation after circumcision
Hi guys, I’ve been circumcised for coming up to 7 weeks now. Recently, one side of my glans has become inflamed. My doctor prescribed me some Trimovate cream. Every time I put it on, it really hurts and is almost unbearable. Does this inflammation go away by itself?

Lichen Sclerosis 1 year post circ
Hi all wonder if you can help with any advice. I had circumcision a year ago. On the glans I am using steroid cream Dermovate for the past 3 months. That seem to keep it controlled. Not getting much better though. Redness still showing. I am seeing a dermatologist and have a follow up appointment 1st

Vaginal pain, anal pain, nearly 4 years on and feeling desperate!
Hi all, am new here as am at my wits end trying to find a way forward with my ongoing issues. I was diagnosed with vaginal atrophy 4 years ago ( since found out due to a lack of oestrogen) even though I was on HRT. As I was bleeding I was taken off my HRT until they could eliminate any nasties. This

DLE or SLE
Hello, My first post here, but I’ve already picked up some really useful info. I’d be grateful if I could tell you my situation and maybe get some advice. So I’m August last year my face broke out in a rash, across my forehead, cheeks and nose. My GP couldn’t diagnose it, luckily I have medical cover

Cutaneous Vasculitis
Hi all Back in early 2015 I had the most awful rash and raised itchy lumps over the lower part of my legs. I went to my GP who suggested treating the whole family for Scabies. After many tests and appointments later and biopsies they confirmed Cutaneous Vasculitis. Back in 2018 from July to December

Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia
I have recently been diagnosed with FFA and was prescribed dermovate but have taken a break from it (on advice of Dr) as I got a breakout of painful acne all over my forehead. What treatments have people found to be useful and any recommendations for shampoo as I have a really itchy scalp all over,

I do not know if I am a suffer of psoriasis or not, GP keeps treating me for dry skin, the skin on my hands and some fingers swells up like a ridge along the infected area, it dries out in no time, splits and cracks open, when I even grab something. Sometimes I very often feel it open I have had a lot

Hi everyone. I was at the doctors today and my Levothyroxine has been increased to 50mcg as my TSH level has went from 1.3 to 5.51. I've also had problems with my eyes for 12 weeks (since i was diagnosed as under active thyroid). I've posted before asking for advice as they are always puffy, swollen,

Finally diagnosed with RA and Inflammatory Fasciitis instead of possible Scleroderma
After lots of tests and a visit to the Royal Free at London to check whether I had some form of scleroderma I now have a diagnosis of Inflammatory Fasciitis instead (which I know is good news for me - my rheumatologist says 'it is in fact similar but different'). The dermatologist did a small biopsy
