Hi all wonder if you can help with any advice. I had circumcision a year ago. On the glans I am using steroid cream Dermovate for the past 3 months. That seem to keep it controlled. Not getting much better though. Redness still showing. I am seeing a dermatologist and have a follow up appointment 1st May. I noticed there is a blister and lump where the circumcision stitches were. This is a new spot was not there before. Do you think should see a dermatologist quickly? Any other suggestions? I had LS that's why the circumcision was done. I thought below the glans the area healed well but now I am very worried this came back on that part there as well. Any other suggestions?

It would, I think, be good to have things checked out as soon as possible.
Thank you I thought so too.
Hi, if you are worried you should have it checked. LS is not something to be left, I would see the dermatologist as soon as you can.
Thank you. Do you think dermatologist or urologist I need to see or both?
Hi mate I have LS had a circumcision 2 years ago got a ulcer on it 10 days later went to hospital they checked it out 2 biopsy later numerous creams asked for pain relief as my penis was on fire didn’t know that LS is inside and outside problem so in time couldn’t piss now going to have a buccal mucosa urthroplasty look it up on the internet. My advice is to get an appointment as soon as possible with your urology team see what they say and be wise with the Dermovate it’s a mild steroid cream there are stronger ones.i was 57 when I had mine done the surgeon said don’t worry I’ve done hundreds of these, what he should of said was I should be struck off because I don’t no what I’m doing.Best of luck
Thanks mate. When is your buccal mucosa surgery? Could you keep me updated how it went afterwards please? Is the burning sensation would stop afterwards did they say anything? Same here my penis is constantly burning for years now and sometimes better sometimes worse. What pain relief have you used? I actually use clobavate at the moment the strongest I think. I already seen the urologist he doesn't think I need the buccal mucosa at this point but the urethra does close up a little bit. Had a urodinamics test he thinks the piss flowing fine.
My surgery is in 2weeks time and the painkillers are Tramadol and Gabapentin,Morphine patches if you’re urine flow is good then fine but with the botched op I had I had to have the buccal op.shall let you no. Lygon
Please upload couple photos so we can see and give advice
Better get checked bro
I went back to the dermatologist yesterday. He said to apply Dermovate to the area as well. I should have another biopsy too as I had one in 2018. Apart from Dermovate why they not prescribe fungal antibiotics? It just seems like Dermovate or steroid creams the only solution and it doesn't seem to work for me or it just a temporary solution. Any other cure or suggestion that might worked for any one?
