Can’t retract my foreskin over my gland want to get it checked out by a doctor but because of the lockdown in the UK because of Coronavirus I can’t. I’ve tried doing loads of research into it I was 99% for getting circumcised but the 1% is I’m worried that you lose 80% sensitivity and only have 20% that remains. I’ve started to stretch it when washing but Yh. Help please

UPDATE: been seen by a doctor today been given Dermovate cream/clobetasol propionate been told I have scar tissue and to take the cream every day for 4 weeks if no joy will be referred to a urologist. This cream is very potent. Could possibly be looking at surgery thanks all for great feedback etc.

Been referred by my doctor for a urologist and have a urology appointment booked for the 18th June so we will see what happens.

Thanks all especially for the great information that you have all provided through my journey.

You need to discuss your possible phimosis with your doctor. Some cases will benefit from stretching and the use of a steroid cream on prescription. Here is the NHS information: nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/

Hi, Inwas circumcised about 9~10 years ago, you don't lose that much sensitivity. Infact for me sex got better, it was more a change in sensation and I am now avle to last longer in bed and the orgasm is more intense. Best choice I made.

Learn how to fix it here: phimosisjourney.com

Personaly it has messed me up physiologically im getting use to the new me slowly but if i was you and 18 i would definitely try the cream first dude i mean everyone has a different experience with there circumcisions but just try everything first and dont rush to make a decision

the cream might work but try to see if you have a tight frenulum and you can get frenulecomty instead (much safer and you dont lost as much sensitivity). I just got a circumcisoin but like you struggled for a while on figuring eveyrhting out. After my frenulecomty, i was still having phimosis so decided on getting the cut.

Hi Man, first thing is when you can see your doctor and have it checked. you could try some steroid creams first just to see if it will help and some stretching may help. it depends on how bad your phimosis is it would be best for your doctor to check it and they can advise you then.

At 18 you are still young, so stretching and creams may help.

If it causing you pain definitely go see Doc'. Services are restricted but Surgery's are still open.

Important thing is not to rush in, consider all your options.

Good luck

I wouldn’t recommend circumcision because you will lose sexual sensation, as mentioned on the NHS article below.

nhs.uk/conditions/circumcis...

I hope it helps you make your decision.

I was circumcised around 2 years ago and I’ve had no issues, I would recommend it.

Circumcision does reduce sensitivity but for me it’s only been minimal and if anything it’s been beneficial (I used to finish prematurely). Now I last longer, I have a more intense orgasm, no more issues with hygiene and it looks much neater.

Agree with Osidge.

If you have a health problem you should solve it.

Ask doctor.

Then, if circumcision is the only solution and you are afraid of sensitivity losing, you could ask for a loose circumcision, to keep as much as possible.

No you will not loose ur sensitivity , it depends on how much you are going too loose your skin ( partial , full ) so just go with little skin removed so that ur sensation remain same and one more thing if after cream u will be well now but may b after 10 -15 year again same problm comes again so better go for it for your better future and may give u more hygiene things

But you should first try medicines and cream then think abt this

From how much time u r facing d prob of phimosis

Many men report sex improving after getting circumcised. Very unlikely you would lose 80% of your sensitivity with a circumcision. Any slight loss would be made up the gains you would receive. Lasting longer is one of several advantages to being circumcised. It sounds like you need a circumcision, so go ahead and have it done. Topical steroid creams don't always work and can sometimes make things worse. I had a circumcision 16 months ago love the results. I had very mild phimosis with a tight frenulum. Tried stretching and using steroid creams but ended up with an excess of foreskin. Going back soon to have even more foreskin removed.

Hi london432 I had to have circumcision because of phimous and balantis i am 7 months post op all healed up and fully operational I also had my frenulum removed i did loose some sensitivity but all that is back sex is better so is masterbation i went to doc hospital creams tablets you name it i had it 10 month of hell if I would have known early I would have done it a lot sooner but to fair I did not want to loose my foreskin after all I had it for 60 years I had low and loose cut and I love it hope this as helped you take care and good luck

Hello London432, I was told by 2 doctors that my foreskin needs to be circumcised. I am from the United States where circumcision is a common practice. I was the only male in junior high and high school that sported a foreskin. Somewhat embarrassing to be the only one not circumcised. In college I concluded the same - all cut in the locker room and showers. I made an appointment but then backed out. After seeing some of the unsightly results on this website I concluded that I'm not having my foreskin removed. I practice stretching exercises.
