Not PMR, Its Fibromyalgia.
Been to see a rheumatologist for the first time. Following loads of questions, xrays, bloods and urine tests, and painful prodding and poking, discovered its Fibromyalgia and not PMR. Pretty confused as steroids have had some positive effects although not totally. Coming off the steroids will be good

Has anyone found another place to test MMA please? Viapath via St Thomas are not offering it anymore. Has anyone tried the pinprick version?
Hi, Really disappointed on contacting Viapath (through St.Thomas Hosp) to hear they are no longer offering the MMA test. I was diagnosed with functional b12 deficiency with their help. I appreciate I can check Active b12 via a pinprick, and it seems MMA is available this way to but very expensive

I take hawthorn/magnesium glycinate/
taurine
/CoQ10 daily. Had my first episode this year in June and thought it was strangely a lighter episode than usual. Then 2 wks later another "light" episode that lasted just a few hrs and was able to count heartrate and was 112.

abdominal muscles pain
im new here and desperate. I've suffered from random stomach symptoms for over 10 years now which the Dr's diagnosed as IBS. I've been relatively stable for a good few years now, with only the odd short flare up. But I'm now suffering the worst episode in years. It started after taking Azathioprine

Tailbone pain
Hi everyone, after a blood test, stool and urine test, and a full abdominal, pelvic and bladder scan I was told I had IBS. Still navigating my IBS diagnosing which is typically IBS-C just lately I have had more IBS-D symptoms with some nausea and pain in my tailbone. I’m reading about colon and rectal

Making rls manageable, a continuing story
Take 2g L
taurine
, 800mg marine magnesium and 400mg L theanine every night at bedtime. Take 800mg magnesium citrate when you wake in the night. This all helps scavenge the extra glutamate associated with rls and relieves hyperarousal. Is this all a bit of a faff?
