Pet Ct Findings
Hi everyone, I have been on Xeloda for 6 months and my PET CT showed improvement in liver and bones. But it showed the endometrium thickness 20mm and some problem with kidneys called hydrouretorenephrosis. I am going through so many tests now and am very nervous. I was also on Tamoxifen before Xeloda

Estradiol just won't go down
None of my docs understand how my estradiol remains highly elevated (above 100), My T is next to zero, I am lean, DHT in the normal range, taking 3 mg of Arimidex for several months. The estradiol was never checked until after my PSA began to rise after several month of successful BAT therapy. So

Tamoxifen and allele
This therapy has been discussed on the forum. A recent study says <those with high levels of STAT3 and STAT5 activation as well as possessing an inflammation signature>> respond to the drug. https://www.onclive.com/view/tamoxifen-reduces-mutation-allele-burden-in-mpn-subset-identified-via-rna-sequencing

Headache and exemestane? What to do?
Hi all, I am here for my aunt. She has just switched from Tamoxifen to exemestane . From the second day she started taking exemestane , she got a terrible headache. That continues now for about a week. Has anyone experienced similar headache while on exemestane? Could it be considered a side effect?

Yearly scanxiety :(
Hello everyone! I just want to ask for any advice on how to cope with scanxiety these days. My mom is a dyalisis patient, she is 46 and she had a lung canceroid in 2019, which was removed. Then 2020 we found out she had BC and that was also removed and only followed by tamoxifen and some radiation.

Scanxiety Headaches
Hello everyone, long time I have not posted. My mom is a dyalisis patient (8 years now) and had a lung carcenoid which was removed in 2019. An unrelated tumor on her breast removed in feb 2020. Both of these never spread to lymph nodes. Her scans have been clear since then. In a week is her third yearly

Tamoxifen how long?
I started on tamoxifen for nipple soreness. This has definitely made it better. I have two questions.1. How long should I stay on tamoxifen or should I check in estrogen level? 2. Does having high estrogen have any benefit in the treatment of prostate cancer? If it does, I can live with the soreness

Evista to prevent recurrence of IDC?
I am 4 months after bilateral mastectomy for invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC). Have had 25 radiation treatments. Now considering Letrozole vs Tamoxifen vs Evista. Don't like the side effects of Letrozole or Tamoxifen. I favor Evista due to recent diagnosis of osteopenia. Has anyone else had experience

Breast tenderness
I am 5 months out from a 3 month shot of Eligard and have noticed breast sensitivity especially at the gym. I inquired about tamoxifen with my urologist they said they only prescribe it to long term adt patients. They recommended soy products. My question is will soy products help with the tenderness

Testosterone and PSA drop and sore nipples
Prostatectomy Gleason 8, Lupron, and pelvic radiation. I am now off of Lupron and testosterone went up to 341 with a PSA of 0.014. Three months later the PSA rose to 0.025. I developed nipple soreness and started on tamoxifen. On my last test, the PSA dropped to 0.014 and the testosterone had dropped

Were You diagnosed with Mets over age 70, after a gap of 10+ years since early breast cancer?
I'm interested in connecting with women who fit the above description. I have been looking at old studies that suggest some breast cancers (especially ER+, HER2-) tend to be very slow-growing. These studies are not discussing MBC as such, but rather early BC. I'm wondering about the various treatments
