Tamoxifen - prescription drug coverage
I'm asking my MO this week about prescribing Tamoxifen (20mg/day) for gynecomastia Issues related to ADT over the last 14 months. Since Tamoxifen is not FDA approved to treat gynecomastia, I'm wondering if it would be covered by my prescription drug plan? Has anyone using Tamoxifen for this purpose had

Constant thin uterus lining and TShaped uterus
Hi. I’ve had constant issues with my lining and have had 2 ops to remove scarring. 6.7mm is the thickest it’s ever been. We have 2 frozen blastocysts waiting to be transferred (using donor eggs) but are in a catch 22. I’m on 3 estrogen patches, 6mg of progynova and aspirin...again! I’ve been reading

Confused
My story started about a little over a half ago when I tested positive for the BRCA 2 gene. I started with mammograms and MRI every 6 months. Had one good mammogram and MRI. Then in January 2020 had a mammogram and a spot showed up. Had a biopsy and came back positive for breast cancer. Was told

Update on my sister
Many thanks to all of you who responded last time I posted a few days ago. My sister has had the results of her biopsy back and her cancer is progesterone and oestrogen positive and her2 negative. Could someone let me know what that means in terms of her treatment going forward. Last time she had BC

8 years on!
I had grade 3 HER2 positive breast cancer in my left breast and had a mastectomy and chemo and herceptine and have been on tamoxifen for 8 years. I am suffering with pain in my bionic boob and very itchy red décolletage which nothing seems to soothe and scratching doesn’t get rid of the itch. Does anyone

Letrozole for 5 or 10 years
I’ve just heard that there is a possibility that I might be prescribed tamoxifen for 5 yrs instead of continuing with letrozole which I’ve been on for 5 yrs. I think that in spite of letrozole side effects I’d rather stay on it than change. What do others think?

Possible Side Effect of Post Cancer Med
I've had bilateral breast cancer. Left side 2002 with chemo and radiation followed up by 5 years of Letrozol. Right side 2013 with only radiation followed up by 5 years of Exemestane (Aromasin). Both tumors were estrogen positive. Now they have put me on Tamoxifen for another 5 years. I'm just wondering

Been to the osteoporosis clinic today, didn't go overly well apparently a score of - 2.4 in my femoral hip isn't borderline osteoporosis when - 2.5 is!!! I've been on Tamoxifen since the end of 2013 and that is supposed to help your bones, but it hasn't helped mine!!!! He's chenged me to Raloxifene to

FET lining issues
Yesterday I had my 2nd FET cycle cancelled as my lining isn't thick enough. In November they added patches and upped my estrogen before cancelling eventually. This cycle I started on 12mg of tablets a day plus patches, all looked great on Day 10 with a "beautiful" triple layer lining but yesterday on

Splitting tamoxifen dose update...
Hello everyone, Hope all as well as can be. I've just dropped in to update after my last post over 6 months ago regarding taking 2x 10mg of tamoxifen per day as opposed to 1x 20mg per day as supply of my preferred brand was becoming difficult to acquire in the 20mg. Anyway I am happy to report that

Tamoxifen?
My mum has now been moved on to maintenance oral drug Tamoxifen.. after having 23 weekly taxols for 4 small liver mets. She had good response from the taxol but her oncologist wants her to have a break from it as she’s had a lot so on to tamoxifen. Had anyone had any experience with this? My mum is 60
