Long QT syndrome
I have a history of ectopic beats and ventricular
tachycardia
. I take daily Verapamil and Flecainide for this. This afternoon I had a 7 day ECG fitted. The routine ECG carried out beforehand showed a pause between heart beats.

Before my surgery I suffered quite badly with some of the graves disease symptoms, high blood pressure,
tachycardia
, muscle weakness and so on. Now, I had my surgery almost 4 years ago, and I still depend on my beatablockers.

Questions to ask consultant
I am still getting some sinus
tachycardia
after eating, blurred vision, tinnitus, the feeling that I'm going to lose consciousness and just not feeling ok in my head. I have a bit more energy but still not great. It's horrible..

Bisoprolol and weight gain
I have been on bisoprolol 5mg daily since Sept last year after two events of
tachycardia
in close succession. Prior to this, the last events were one in 2011 and one in 2012 which raised no concern for the doctors and no treatment. I have had (or so i thought) minimal side effects from this drug.

How long does cardiac ablation typically last for re-entrant tachycardia?
I thought I was free of it( re-entrant
tachycardia
) after the last ablation however my other Cardiologist ( not the E.P. cardiologist) said it usually lasts for about a year. I hope I heard that wrong!

What exactly is this??
I have been having unexplained bouts of sinus
tachycardia
, up to 160bpm resting and all the associated side effects; dizziness, breathlessness, exhaustion and some chest pains. The doctor asked me a few questions and then explained what he thinks it is.

Atrial Flutter and Shingles
That mostly kept things under control and if I had a
tachycardia
episode I took an 80mg tablet which settled things down in a few hours.

Possible Pacemaker and Av node ablation
Since that last ablation I had extreme chest pain, breathlessness and extreme
tachycardia
leading to multiple collapses. Thankful the pain has eased but the rest of symptoms Im still having.

Tachycardia but pulse radial pulse feels normal
They both knock me breathless, but the 'silent'
tachycardia
is always accompanied by pre-syncope.

Is my loop recorder working it’s way out?
Really glad I have it as I have several issues that my cardiologist is trying to help me with, sinus
tachycardia
, PVCS, mitral valve insufficiency, along with occasional pauses and bradycardia as well.

Is this an acceptable rise in B12?
Was told it was sinus
tachycardia
- essentially, fast rate but normal rhythm. 30 day heart monitor has since confirmed episodes of sinus tachy without any arrhythmia.
