Research/ studies hypothyroid and tachycardia after eating
Hi, a few weeks back I asked if anyone had
tachycardia
after eating. I was taken off levothyroxin, now back on 25mcg..but just before going back on it I had another episode of
tachycardia
(and subsequent feeling that I'm going to collapse) after eating and today was the same.

Kardia Report
The result came back this afternoon saying
Tachycardia
, Atrial Fibrillation. So my question is, could the report be wrong? I am going to take my print outs to the GP next week, but hoping some of you good experienced folk here can advise? Does this mean I have AF, or could it be a mistake?

Think I just graduated ...
I suffered from postural
tachycardia
(my heart rate would jump from 66 resting to 130 within seconds by just standing up). The doctor said I need to get active. For a healthy 32 year old, thats probably not a huge task but I was struggling to even walk fast. But I ran.

thyroid and heart problems
I was diagnosed with autoimmune hashimotos disease, in 2016 have very high anti bodies but tsh level normal, I also have me and fibro aswell, under cardiology with
tachycardia
and high blood pressure they say this is because of my hashimotos but the endocrinologist says it cant be because I'm on no medication

What I wish I had known (and what I have learnt through trial and error 😅)
-
tachycardia
- it’s the asthma drugs, high blood pressure - it’s your asthma, palpation/shakes - too much salbutamol, reflux - it’s from the steroids, migraines - probably from the drugs/stress, easy bruising - it’s the pred... on and on and on.

Tachycardia after eating and waking up
Has anyone else had such experience;
tachycardia
upon waking up and eating. Ive read that the adrenal glands takeover when your t3/T4 is low when waking up and as a result secret a little bit too much noradrenaline...hence the raised HR and BP... Ps.

Beta Blocker and antidepressant interaction
My cardiologist decided to put me on a beta blocker, metoprolol, for my
tachycardia
. It is a very low dosage, only 12.5 mg, I have found online there may be some contraindications between this and Wellbutrin. Does anyone know more about beta blockers and antidepressants?

Rituxan, taken alone
I have heart issues, including fast heartbeat and ventricular
tachycardia
. I am over 80 years old. My oncologist is recommending a Rituxan drip. He is hesitant to use some of the newer drugs because of my heart issues. Is anyone out there on Rituxan alone?

It seems I'm a fraud ! I don't have AF after all and my ICD is on hold
Although he thought he had seen attributes identifying AF, he now describes it as Atrial
Tachycardia
and Atrial Ectopics (if you're reading this, perhaps you can confirm that I remembered correctly).

Updates - there's always something more...
If an NSTEMI wasn't enough on June 4th, I was admitted to A&E on Wednesday with dizziness, weakness, breathlessness,
tachycardia
and atrial fibrillation. Turns out that I have now been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism on top of everything else.

A very Up and Down Day
- after a day of on and off horrible, symptomatic arrythmias with Heart pauses and HR down to 39 and then
tachycardia
up to 165 eventually resulting in 4 hours of fast AFl. Now I am ready for this pacemaker! Now on the NHS waiting list so have planned to be at home until it’s done.

Just wondering? How many of you were misdiagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse before your afib diagnoses
At the time my symptoms were a lot of palpitations and some episodes of
tachycardia
. A few times going to the ER. So for years I took atenenol as needed, had echos done and they always said it was very mild.It was very bothersome at times. No one ever suggested I had A-fib or flutter.

Hashimoto's with rise in TSH and nighttime tachycardia
Anyone else have nighttime
tachycardia
and elevated TSH? I feel like something is going on with my thyroid that may be causing/influencing all this? Advice?

After the panic attack I had constant, debilitating anxiety followed by chest pain, persistent
tachycardia
(even at rest) and what I now assume to be spleen pain. Multiple visits to my Dr were dismissed as "brain chemicals" with scripts for Zoloft and Xanax.
