Sinus Tachycardia
Hi Newbie Here, I've been diagnosed with the above (heart gets very excited at the slightest thing - even ironing!!!), won't bore you all with the back story but local hosp won't offer me any other treatment other than drugs which make me feel extremely sea sick. Bought myself a Kardia Monitor and since

At home after a little blip
Tachycardia
and possible AF (but it could have been frequent ectopics which can sometimes feel similar). Anyway I stayed for a few more hours till it settled down and got to enjoy lunch there too - mushroom vol au vent with veggies and salad followed by bread and butter pudding.

How do you deal with it?
I wore a Holter monitor for the second time in two years for 30 days it showed a couple of episodes of atrial
tachycardia
and some ectopic Beats. The doctor gave me metoprolol. I haven't started taking it yet because of the side effects.

1 year since cryo-balloon ablation
Despite a few very brief epsiodes (less than 1 minute) of
tachycardia
, ectopic runs and froggy flip flops early in the blanking period, I have not had AF. I have been off of all heart medications since the ablation. I still suffer from a few ectopics daily, but I feel great.

Immune Anxiety Response
I've had
tachycardia
probably pollen related as it was high summer and near to a rape seed field. The doctor couldn't help but suggested anti histamines. Just this morning, I had palpitations and breathlessness-my house is surrounded by trees and my bedroom window was open. It's settled down now.

A little anxious
She said there’s a strong likelihood of me going into
tachycardia
or even AF during surgery and/or in the subsequent days. She will take good care of me and said if my heart behaves I’ll go to a surgical ward and if there’s any hiccups I’ll be sent to CCU (eek).

Had my thyroid checked in Cyprus. Fed up with 'out of range' results being ignored by my GP
He diagnosed
tachycardia
and suggested this be a result of the thyroid. I also had an ultrasound on my thyroid and was told it was destroyed due to chronic thyroiditis. I have this information now am now on betablockers and the 'woozy ' has stopped.

Ablation left side
I had an ablation apparently on the right side, but still keep having attacks of afib/
tachycardia
which take me into hospital by ambulance as an emergency.

Tachycardia and Anxiety
Has anyone else experienced a chronic or long lasting time of
tachycardia
/higher than normal heart rate? What did you do? For 7 weeks I’ve cut out sugar, caffeine, started yoga, and working on improving my sleep.

Another cardioversion!
Called ambulance, wee small hours again, they were just brilliant, confirmed in atrial
tachycardia
, need to go to A&E again, they were so kind. Arrived in A& E, taken straight thru to resus. Drs were great, did CV 20 mins after arrival.

Doctor said its Covid
I also have sinus
tachycardia
. I started 10 days ago with Covid symptoms after daughter and husband tested positive. I am now on an inhaler as I keep getting shortness of breath on movement. I have a pulse oximeter and am completely obsessed by checking my pulse now all day.

Confused again, nervous & scared
However, the last time I went to Emergency, with 155 bpm (this was the bpm for over 24 hours), I was told first that it was
tachycardia
, then on discharge papers, saw that I had SVTs. Last time, I went back to normal sinus rhythm in the Emergency Room after an IV in my arm of metoprolol.

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by GP; montelukast, LABAs, combination inhalers and steroids!
The most common side effects specific to LABAs (and not inhalers in general) are tremors, nervousness/anxiety and palpitations/
tachycardia
, but usually calm over time!

The bad times are fully back woo hoo
I was DXed with a SVT, Supra Ventricular
Tachycardia
, everytime I went into the the ER I was told the old famous line of "Youre too young for heart issues" or "Its just your anxiety" and I know for sure it wasn't, it would kick my anxiety off. I was livid at most of the doctors.

Kardia 6 Lead Narrow Complex Tachycardia extreme axis deviation
My heart axis at rest is normal 0 to +90 Exercise, standing, breathing deeply put me in extreme axis deviation/no mans land/RAD I had Kardia analyse my ECG, but they only told me what I already know, it's a narrow complex
tachycardia
🤷🏻♀️ Any ideas on what rhythm this could be?

Agoraphobia coming back
Can't catch a break, well I can't fully say that, I had a ok year last year, but prior to that I was having SVT (supra ventricular
tachycardia
) that kept being misdiagnosed as panic attacks until I got a heart monitor. It was causing my anxiety.

Catheter ablation for atrial tachycardia
Hello, can anyone tell me of their experience of catheter ablation for atrial
tachycardia
in either the left or right atriums? I can't seem to find much online about it (apart from those who have had ablation for a-fib)?
