1 year since cryo-balloon ablation

Hello All,

It has been 1 year and 2 days since my ablation. Despite a few very brief epsiodes (less than 1 minute) of tachycardia, ectopic runs and froggy flip flops early in the blanking period, I have not had AF. I have been off of all heart medications since the ablation. I still suffer from a few ectopics daily, but I feel great. I was always in pretty good shape, but I have retained all of my good habits and have also added new ones like learning my triggers and avoiding them, like caffeine, MSG and artificial sweeteners. I hope that I will remain AF free for years to come and if AF were to come back, I will know that I will be able to navigate the best course to have the best quality of life I can. This forum has been of great help for me and I have stayed a member in order to be helpful of others. Please feel free to read the posts from my continued journey or ask me questions. Stay well.

Hi, I am due a cryo ablation shortly and iam scared about the procedure and scared about it not working, thanks for your post it makes me feel better 😊

I was about to schedule an ablation when I tried completely getting off artificial sweeteners. 7 months no more afib. We shall see.
