Tachycardia andPV
Over this year I have had numerous episodes of
tachycardia
and a few admissions to A and E with it. The A and E docs think it is probably superventricular
tachycardia
. Fortunately, eventually, I have an appointment for cardiology in 3 weeks time.

Ablation for atrial flutter?
I haven’t been back in
tachycardia
since and have an HR now of about 60 bpm. They now think I’d had pneumonia with “pleural effusion” which I now seem to be just about over. The decision for an urgent ablation was made when they hadn’t been able to get my HR down.

The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
Symptoms include nightmares,
tachycardia
, frequent need to pee, agitation, diarrhoea, vomiting and more (i.e. it’s all very similar to problems I also experience when RLS is high). You can read more here, for example: http://academic.oup.com/painmedicine/article/4/1/63/1816666 .

Visiting England -Tachycardia in Marks&Spencer :)
So, the question is, where’s the weirdest or most awkward or funniest place you’ve had to wait out a bit of afib or
tachycardia
.

are you sticking with riveroxaban or asking to change to Apixaban in light of recent research?
I now have reduced ejection fraction of 46%, PAF very infrequently, none sustained ventricular
tachycardia
and benign SVT on occasions. I’m very fit with no real risk factors. Riveroxaban has not caused any bleeding issues big or small- nothing at all.

The return of AF
some may remember that 6 weeks after my AF ablation I had another, this time for
tachycardia
and flutter.

Update
The good thing about this “sinus
tachycardia
” is that my beta blocker helps it come down, however it’s been happening very frequently these days. Just feeling discouraged, I’m trying to be hopeful. I know there has to be an answer and a solution.

Bisoprolol to Sotalol
This drug has served me well in lowering my heart rate when it has gone into
Tachycardia
territory. My cardiologist has said that if my Afib bothers me me more, then as I am on a high dose of Bisoprolol, he would consider changing it to Sotalol ( I assume changing it, not ADDING Sotalol ! ).

Cold 🥶 🧊 water 💧 therapy anyone?
Can cause
tachycardia
and arrhythmias due to dropping your body temp. Obviously 🙄 you need to build gradual tolerance. Keen to hear if anyone does this & if their heart behaves? Thank you 🙏

Kardia for Tachycardia
Hi, was wondering how useful the Kardia is for
Tachycardia
. Would it just tell me what I already know ? Have had sinus
tachycardia
for past 3 years and currently taking Diltiazem 120mg twice a day. This helps a bit but hr still quite erratic - jumps up and down a lot.

Have arranged phone consult for tomorrow, but where do I start?
I filled in the 4 days without amlodipine with 40mg propranolol from a 2017 script from previous surgery, which makes me wonder if it's the
tachycardia
that's driving up the BP?

Superventricular tachycardia along side PV
Hello everyone I hope your all well 😊 I have been posting about my experience with STV and just wanted to update everyone. I was seen by cardiology yesterday and it was confirmed it is STV I have been experiencing. The treatment I have opted for is catheter ablation. Unfortunately there us a 6 month

Stopping Atomoxetine and decision not to reintroduce any medication until the summer holidays. Any experience from parents who stopped
We had to stop Atomoxetine because my son has developed adverse reaction- severe
tachycardia
. Reducing the dose didn’t make the difference in pulse. Only once we stopped completely now his pulse is back to normal ranges for his age.

Without provocation (no triggers), I startled awake in Afib which turned into

and has continued for 48 hours now.
