atrial, fibrillation, and electrolyte imbalances
I do sometimes, but more rarely, experienced
tachycardia
if I begin exercise like running during an episode of atrial fabulation (or when I’m feeling the fluttering/tingling in my chest) Cheers

Bio: I began having episodes of
tachycardia
in 1986 at age 16. Attacks were infrequent and were not diagnosed as a heart arrhythmia until around 2000. At that time I was told my
tachycardia
was AVNRT.

Amiodarone effects on thyroid replacement post heart surgery
This resulted with initially over range thyroid hormone levels in the blood, high heart rate (
tachycardia
) and an intolerance of my NDT Armour Thyroid. After a while I was only able to tolerate a quarter of my usual daily dose.

Ablation was a bust
The EP study today found the source of my
tachycardia
. That was a success. But ablating it would have damaged my phrenic nerve. That was a fail. The ablation zone was wrapped around by the phrenic nerve.

Issue when reverting back to NSR
Hello everyone I had
tachycardia
/ SVT from teenage years. Earliest episodes awful as little info available (groups like this were unimaginable then!). Over the years I had an on / off battle with "an irregular heartbeat" and I think most drugs were tried.

pregnancy with atrial tachycardia/svt
Hello I’m just looking for some advice on pregnancy and giving birth with atrial
tachycardia
/svt I’ve been told I can have a baby but would need a plan and would need to be closely monitored as there are risks. Has anyone got any of their own experiences they could share with me please.

Dilated cardiomyopathy
Unfortunately last month I went into another severe ventricular
tachycardia
storm where I had to be put to sleep for 4 days, I've got a pacemaker and a defibrillator however I have been informed that I would be put on the heart transplant list.

Prednisilone or Biologic
Hi, If someone with PMR can’t tolerate Prednisilone due to Diabetes, Ventricular
Tachycardia
and Depression, would it be reasonable to be prescribed a biologic instead? Thanks.

Newly diagnosed, mild Bronchiectasis
I already have heart issues -
tachycardia
, angina, 2 stents fitted - so suffer from breathlessness anyway. I’m not having too much trouble with phlegm at the moment but do have post nasal drip and have phlegm from that every day. (Don’t know if there’s any connection).

Hi there. Nice to meet you. Don't be anxious. It doesn't hurt. And it will go away.
It may have been tiredness or an electrolyte imbalance that caused me to have sinus
tachycardia
but as weird as it felt, being my first instance of any kind of heart issue at age 21, I really didn't think too much of it.

Symptomatic AF every day, still waiting for treatment.
Whilst waiting for the tape I started with
tachycardia
, shortness of breath and heart racing,on exertion. Light-headedness and fatigue are also daily symptoms. I walk into the bathroom and then upstairs and my heart rate shoots up to 120!

Ablation or not. I'm so confused..
Yesterday I had a consultation with an electrophysiologist he said I border atrial fibrillation and atrial
tachycardia
and was a contender for ablation. However given the risk of complications, the fact it may not work and that flecainide is working well I may be better to stay on the drugs.

Can you have multiple heart 'problem' types at the same time and what's the significance?
on my list over the last few years, I've had Atrial Fibrillation with rapid ventricular response, Sinus Bradycardia, Premature Atrial Contractions, (bigeminy, trigeminy) and Premature Ventricular Contraction, Right Bundle Branch Block and now it looks like potentially Atrioventricular nodal reentry

I have had many loop recorders over the years which have picked up things like SVT, premature ventricular beats, 6 beat non sustained VT, supraventricular ectopic beats, sinus

.
