walnuts
hello, I’m post breast cancer treatment and on tamoxifen. There’s been a bit of thyroxine wobbling as I started that so being monitored. I’m eating more nuts, particularly / including walnuts (good for Bc) for extra protein as I’m exercising and lifting weights. how long would you wait before

Hi I was taken off Carb 15mg on my last visit to GP on Dec 8th as I complained that my voice had changed and I was struggling to get out of bed. He looked at my results taken 23.10.23 which were TSH 7.85 (0.27-4.20) and FT4 10.5 (11.0-25.0) I assume the GP had done this incase of over medicated for

taking thyroxin
hi jack I used to take mine in the morning. But have changed it to just before bedtime No coffee or tea for an hour before you take them Caffeine stops the thyroxin working fully So I’m told I also don’t eat anything after 9 and take the tablets around 12 midnight I have found it works

Weird feelings following reduced dose of thyroxine
A few weeks ago my thyroxine dose was reduced from 100 to 75mg. I had no warning, just a decision my GP made. I've been on various doses over the years, but 100 was felt to be the correct one for me. The past few days, I've been feeling like I'm shaky and unsteady. I've been giddy when bending over

One of those factoids that swings between being slightly interesting and the "So what?" end of the scale! Thyroxine was first isolated in 1914 by Edward Calvin Kendall, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Calvin_Kendall

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

I live in uk and wish to know if folks are still able to get armour thyroxine through any NHS or primary care trust ?
I have been in it for 17 years and nhs prescription issued through my GP practice , endorsed by the local secondary care trust endocrinologist team - but they have just informed me that this is no more!

Worsening insomnia can anyone help?
I’ve recently reduced my Levo dose because my T4 was 93% through the range and I was having palpitations. I was on 100mcg so now on 75mcg 4 times a week and 100mcg 3 times a week. Energy wise this is actually the best I’ve felt so far. Unfortunately the insomnia has worsened in the last few weeks where

Bradyarrythmia
I had an ablation almost 4 years ago in feb 2020. Since then I have rarely had any arrhythmias, that is until now. They started out of the blue almost two weeks ago and are constant. However , they are not like before, this time the average beats are 60 per minute. They go as low as 42 and as high as
