I just don't know...
As some here know, at the beginning of the year I had irradiation of my neck and upper back (cervical spine and upper thoracic spine). It was awful and I ended up in the emergency department for 3 days while they got my throat open enough for me to swallow. Horrible not to be able to swallow well for

Blood Test Advice Please
Hello All Having recently started on a trial for T3 (as well as my normal T4 dose) I am due some blood tests next Monday. Do I have to stop ALL B supplements from today or just B6? I have a simple Folate/B12 supplement which I can use instead of my normal B Complex. Would that be okay to take this

Verapamil and effects on thyroid
I have been wondering if my long term use of heart drug Verapamil has had any affect on my thyroid. I have been on Thyroxine for 22 years and Verapamil for about 18 years. I stumble across the following article and wondered if anyone can make head or tail of it. It says at the end it was safe for the

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
I'd a mole removed from my right shoulder blade last November that was initially feared to be cancerous, but thankfully wasn't so. Since then I have an annoying pain in my right upper abdomen. Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a cystoscopy which

Damned if don't damned if you do. That's an overactive thyroid. Simple.
Most of the consultants simply push for removal. Once you do, you are on ,"Artificial" thyroxine for the rest of you existence. If you do not, you are on thyroxine suppressants for life! There is no cure! Both solutions require you live on "harmful" substances. So, what do you do? Both solutions keep

You have to laugh, interesting when they don’t know what your TSH is and only have access to T4/T3
Message from GP this afternoon: Your
T4
is 12 (range 12-22) and T3 3.3 They didn’t
test
TSH today This seems to be a bit low. Would you like to increase your dose and retest in 4 weeks. Proves the point they shouldn’t go on TSH alone…….

low T4 and T3 normal TSH
I posted earlier in the year about my daughter diagnosed with post partum thyroiditis , no treatment at the time but endocrinologist said he’d keep an eye on her! Her most recent results seem odd to me in that both T4 and T3 are very low but her TSH is also low - her case has been closed and results

Latest Thyroid Results
My ‘thyroid journey’ has been an interesting one and now approaching its 4th year. I’m fairly convinced I don’t have autoimmune thyroid disease and relatively confident my adrenals play a big part in my symptoms, however it’s not just adrenals as I’ve tested myself on HC solo and it doesn’t work. Aaanyway

I've got Covid - any suggestions on when I can do a Thyroid Function Test?
I've got a test kit for a standard finger-prick TFT (Thyroid Function
Test
) i.e. TSH + Free
T4
+ Free T3. I want to do it ASAP without Covid interfering too much with the results (or at all, if possible). When would be a good time to do it after recovery?

Blue Horizon Thyroid Premium Gold test results
Hi, I'm fairly new to this site & this is the first time I've posted. I had recurrent non-malignant cysts on my thyroid with no other apparent symptoms in around 2006. Initially the cysts were drained using needle aspiration. (At this time, one of the sonographers who was performing the needle aspiration

Low fT4, but midrange fT3. Feeling cold, brain fog.
Hi there, male, 64, fit, no problems besides this: for about 3 years I´m having symptoms like feeling cold, brain fog, and most things one would consider to be low thyroid function. I did a lot of blood tests in the last year. Most values are ok. Zinc, Vit B, Selen etc. has all been tested ok, too
