Nature Throid
This was monumental compared to the
synthroid
that I had been taking. Then, within a couple of weeks, I began to feel really yucky and my heart started racing. Do you have any idea why this would happen? My doctor started me on 1.5 grains per day and I weigh 165lbs.

What usually happens to TSH and T# levels once a person starts taking T3 along with the T4?
My endo increased my dose of
Synthroid
in July to .137 and after doing labs in October again the results showed TSH levels were at .525 but my T3 levels hadn't budged from the bottom of the range. She started me on T3 5mcg in morning along with the
Synthroid
and 5 mcg T3 in afternoon.

I have used
synthroid
medication for nearly 50 years to do this. Currently my thyroid is slightly low, but within the normal range. I have always had a heart murmur (same as my mom who lived to be 88 and died of Alzheimer's). Dad lived to be 92.

Amioadrone and weight gain
I have hyperthyroidism and take
synthroid
but I am now gaining weight. The dr said I would only be on amioadrone for 6 weeks and don't read about the side effects so, of course, the first thing I did was read them. One of the side effects was weight gain.

Can someone please help me interpret my lab work?
I'm now on 75my of the generic for
synthroid
and 10 mcg of cytomel (5 mcg twice a day) daily. When I had my lab work done it read T3 total 110, T4 free 1.3 and my TSH was 0.3. The endo said that I'm taking too much medication.

Severe weight loss
Okay after taking 50mcg of
synthroid
for a month I still feel crappy. Not even my biggest worry anymore. I've lost 20 pounds in the last three months and lost another pound the last two weeks.

Thyroid-S
Are you supposed to stop taking other meds like
Synthroid
altogether? I have researched it, but still can't find much info on it. Is Thyroid-S a NDT or is it just used as a supplement?

Bad day
Synthroid
over the month apparently isn't helping. Feel like my body has run a marathon and I don't remember it. I want this over and I want to be able to get up, I want one day without the fearful feeling of passing out. Does anyone else feel the crippling numbness?!!

Not confirmed Lupus yet
My body was hurting and aching and he said it was probably because my thyroid levels were off and my
synthroid
dosage needed to be lowered. I had a rash on the inside of my elbow area that was not going away for a few months and bad headache. Headache he said was allergies and gave me flonase.

I am a Hypothyroid Mom with a Hypothyroid son
I am looking into finding a better diet and also forming a local group with people like me who are not getting results from
synthroid
. I already changed taking my
synthroid
to now taking before going to bed rather than first thing in the morning.

Itchy area near thyroid gland
My T4 Levels are normal over the past 10 years and I take
synthroid
150mcg. It has also been 15 years since I had radioactive iodine treatment for Graves disease. I stopped wearing necklaces and cant relate it to any foods, perfume or diet changes. I just want the itching to stop!

Thyroid qestion
She's been on
synthroid
ever since. 2 years ago the Dr. reduced her medication dosage. Yesterday s test results show her TSH level at 0.01. Her Dr. says it's too high. How can such a low level be considered too high?
