ferritin still low
As mentioned before my ferritin is 13, can’t tolerate any oral form and have had infusions in the past. Am being denied infusion as Full bloods are within range, no idea what to do now, eating plenty of iron rich foods, feeling really unwell and down. Recent test results: B12=651(187-883), vit D=92(

Missed T3 doses
Because I had real issues with finding my usual brands, being messed about by not only my GP but two pharmacies, unfortunately it led to me being without any T3 and I missed around 2.5 days of my full dose of T3 As I am feeling so unwell with more severe anxiety and fatigue, I put it solely down to

Incomplete Evacuation and Diarrhoea
Hi there, 26yo female suffering with debilitating daily morning diarrhoea followed by incomplete evacuation, where it feels like my muscles just stop moving and there's an obstruction. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2020 when symptoms started, tried fodmap diet, mebeverine, linseeds, anitbiotics for suspected

Update on ferritin testing issue - private vs. NHS results
Hi everyone. Posting as a new post, rather than add to the long thread on my previous post. https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/150959532/medichecks-vs-nhs-results I have a reply from Medichecks. Hmm... Whilst the info seems to align with what you posted FlipperTD , they don't seem to

help to understand test results
After a year of monitoring my TSH due to a bout of subacute thyroiditis, initially suspected as thyroid cancer. I am now at a point where my GP feels medication may be required and have undertaken an extensive range of blood tests through the GP I have an appointment on the 4th July to discuss options

Medichecks ferritin results and ranges
Hi all. I don't have a thyroid issue (this has been ruled out), but someone on the PAS forum suggested I post a query on here to see if anyone could shed light on this issue. Having accessed my GP records late last year I discovered I had a long-standing ferritin deficiency, as defined by NICE guidelines

FasFasting before blood test
hi, following my last post, my gp has agreed to add B12, ferritin etc to my annual thyroid review. I've been told here to not take my usual morning dose before the test;however, looking online most medical websites say its not necessary to fast. Anyone care to clarify for me please. thanks

working out percentage of range
Apologies for very basic question but how does one work out the percentage in range of T3 & T4? I feel very stupid having to ask this! 😔 As I posted this a very helpful post popped up with the answer. Apologies and thanks. I did try searching before posting but obviously didn’t phrase the question

Anyone had faint positive at 12dp5dt and still had successful pregnancy?
I took a early pregnancy test yesterday morning and came back positive but the line wasn't dark. I took another one this morning and the line has gotten fainter... (I have been going to the toilet every 2 hrs this night so maybe it wasn't concentrated) . Other tests show almost negative (I really have
