Basically, over three years of pain and worry..I am considering to see a private Endo specialist and ask them to put me on an NHS
surgery
list. My big question is: are they authorised to do this? Any advice would be greatly received!

Pain Concern
Since my back
surgery
(micro-decompression at L4/5) in April 2020 my pain has brought me to tears on an almost daily basis. I know this is my rotational scoliosis because of the painful lump that protrudes from the right side of my lower back and x-rays done by a chiropractor.

self-inject intramuscular vitamin B12
My
surgery
does not really support that, so I just buy supplies from Germany. However I do think that my GP should allow me to do my own as I have been trained to do the injections for giving IM to my wife for her rheumatoid arthritis.

Good News…..
Meanwhile I discovered that around August the 1st , I had been on 5-7.5 mg bisoprolol in July, I was increased to 10-12.5 mg in prep for a
surgery
. The pharmacy or
surgery
increased my tablets to 5mg instead of 2.5mg. This meant that I was taking 20-25mg of bisop per day.

Very relieved .......
In the longer term if the hernia continues to be an issue it is sliding 3cm they may consider
surgery
, although I am hoping it can be managed by medication.

Shingles Vaccine Update
I woke to a text message from our GP's
surgery
to say that I am eligible for a shingles vaccination with a link to book in with a nurse. My GP's obviously looked up the guidelines & though better of her decision!

Medicinal Cannabis
He’s suggested that he would refer me back to the Spinal Surgeons and I’m very concerned as they originally said it was too risky to have further
surgery
due to my Heart Condition. Does anyone have any experience with Medical Cannabis?

Positive Experience - Diagnosis and Treatment
He spoke with me before
surgery
to go through the procedure and after to tell me my results. He was caring from initial consultation, holding my hands to make sure I was ok. He even messaged me the day before my
surgery
and after to check how I was and see if I had any questions.

Family struggles and my mental health
I am also having
surgery
during the holidays. I don't want to go back home. Living with my family is not safe for me. I need to feel like I can get through living with them for those few weeks without engaging in bad coping skills.

Foraminotomy
I could be looking at this
surgery
once injections have been exhausted. Would be interested in hearing from people about how they found it, did it work, and crucially what was your post op experience like, pain levels, time to recover? Thank you in advance.

RFA treatment for toxic multinodular goitre
The nodule in my goitre was /is very large and was above the size for a good clinical outcome but the Radiologist was happy to negotiate my choice and on the basis that I did not want
surgery
and that the goitre should improve on a cosmetic level it was agreed to proceed.

Hi Everyone 👋, Just returning from Las Palmas Gran Canaria. 1st time away since my Bypass
surgery
. Smallish rooftop pool some couple of dozen sun beds 🛌 all facing the rectangular pool. Very serene atmosphere 👌 only ever one or two people taking a dip.

Cutenous endometriosis
Hi there, I had my 4th endo
surgery
early this year and have developed cutaneous endometriosis by my belly button. It causes pain at tines and I thought it was a keloid, but my GP thinks it's cutaneous endometriosis. Has anyone experienced this and if anyone has any advice. X

Can this be anxiety
It suddenly grew and
surgery
was needed. Although I feel very grateful for the good medical care. I also found out out I have a smaller one that must be monitored. There is no permanate fix for these things I have just careful monitoring.
