Much of this applies to open Prostatectomies.

I had robotic. There are things that dont apply.

I was made to walk 2 hours after waking from surgery, and was given a complete meal as a reward!! No pain meds necessary, opioids aren't dispensed (unless major pain). No blood thinners. Went home less than 24 hours later, no major restrictions.

My removed prostate, and lymph nodes were biopsied immediately and before the surgeon closed. What was the surgeon team doing while waiting? Playing poker on my stomach?
