PSA slightly rose after 8 months undetectable
I am 57 and on ADT (Firmagon+Zytiga+Prednisone) after
surgery
in 2022 and 39 sessions of RT in 2023 (Jan Feb). Till now I has been undetectable but at November my bloodwork showed PSA risen to 0.04. Should I be concerned or could it be just random fluctuation? Thanks for your reactions.

New blood results
Graves confirmed again 57 years after
surgery
for it. Endo said that there's nothing can be done to reduce the antibodies and since my bloods are in range come back in 6 months. Meanwhile, I feel unwell. Still getting palpitations and losing weight.

a double bed with seperate mattresses?
we don't have room for a bigger bed, and I'm recuperating from
surgery
still and some other stuff: not likely to reduce my bed time significantly soon. the same will happen again even if I get us a new mattress, and we don't have the income for that, and I can't get the sleep I need.

Heartbroken
We have to take her to a specialist to make sure that is the case but either way she would need
surgery
that would take part of her jaw.

Bronchiectasis and unrelated antibiotics
Yesterday I had dental
surgery
to extract a molar because it was fractured ( could that be due to many many events with prednison???), and now I am on antibiotics amoxicilin. Dentist says 6 days or so.

pregnancy after surgery?
hi ladies, I just wanted to know if any of you managed to have babies after
surgery
for stage 4 endometriosis and with adenomyosis. I’m 36 now and I’m due my
surgery
in just under 3 weeks time. I’m very nervous about being able to have a baby with my partner.

going toilet after laparoscopy
I had my diagnostic and excision
surgery
earlier today and they have found and removed endo tissue. I have been home for around 2 hours now and I was wondering if anyone had any issues with going toilet at all straight after?

I had one aunt say 'ah, hopefully they can give you something for it' 😆I do feel quite isolated at the minute (plus I've just had gallbladder
surgery
so probably feeling a bit sorry for myself ) so hence I am searching for others in the same boat.

Chemo question
Since my tumor is too large, I can’t have
surgery
yet. I had my first taxol/carboplatin treatment last week. I had an allergic reaction shortly after starting. Then on days 3-6 I had severe sharp pains in my bones in my back and legs that broke through my pain meds.

Meniscus tear/PMR flare update
I had requested more 5mg pred tablets on the MyGP app and last Friday got a call from the pharmacist at my GP
surgery
to say doctor wants me to drop to 4mg for 4 weeks then taper down every four weeks!! This was the GP who is in overall charge not the one I usually see.

post surgery bleeding. Does it ever stop?!?
I had my
surgery
on 6th October to remove endo and I haven’t stopped bleeding since. It’s really getting me down. It slows but it never goes. It’s really starting to impact on my mental health and I’m still experiencing pain.

Cataract after Preserflo treatment
I'm 4 months after glaucoma
surgery
/ preseflo, I still have blurred vision - today I was diagnosed with a cataract on the operated eye and also retinal swelling. Does anyone have experience with such a case - how to treat it (cataract
surgery
will help).

Methotrexate
At a routine drug review at the
surgery
this week the pharmacist said she was surprised I had not been put on Methotrexate. She said if I was put on this it would be instead of the steroids. With all the trouble of tapering the Pred I can’t imagine just dropping it completely.

Asthma Annual GP Review
This morning I received a letter from my
Surgery
asking me to complete the enclosed Asthma Diary (sadly, one wasn’t enclosed) so that they could see the ‘patter’ of my peak flows. I have now sent them the information online as last year my hand-submitted diary never reached my medical records.
