Denosumab vs Bisphosphonates
This may require corrective
surgery
if my bone density improves. My question is about the treatment members have had, and if anyone is potentially in my situation. I have completed two years of Teriparatide.

I stopped Prostap, started the mini pill but I keep bleeding.
Tethered to my bowl, colon and bladder and i am now awaiting
surgery
. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had issues with bleeding after coming off Prostap? I had the Prostap injection for one month, alongside Tibolone. It really affected me and so I decided not to continue.

Stopping blood thinner for surgery
On the day of
surgery
they'll use heparin, but I don't remember the details about that. Have you stopped your blood thinner for
surgery
? How did that go? I am triple positive, LA, hashimoto's, sjogren's etc. Thanks so much! Anita in CO

Family struggles and my mental health
I am also having
surgery
during the holidays. I don't want to go back home. Living with my family is not safe for me. I need to feel like I can get through living with them for those few weeks without engaging in bad coping skills.

Foraminotomy
I could be looking at this
surgery
once injections have been exhausted. Would be interested in hearing from people about how they found it, did it work, and crucially what was your post op experience like, pain levels, time to recover? Thank you in advance.

Blood Test Results.
Eventually went to the
surgery
on Wednesday and they said they didn't have it - I went to the
surgery
in town as that's where I was - presumed they would just have to look it up. No had to go to the
surgery
in our village as that's where I am registered !

Da vinci robot or normal laproscopy?
He performs both the Da vinci robotic
surgery
or the usual laproscopy. I have heard some good things but unsure as which one to choose. Does anyone have any info? Is one better than the other? And is reoccurrence less likely with robotic
surgery
? Thank you

Ignorance of some GPs...a cautionary tale...
Yesterday I went to my
surgery
to collect next lot of pred and was told I needed a dr's review. I have never been refused pred before in 8 years. I insisted on a Tel appointment and said it was Urgent. A Dr phoned me later and said "do you take pred for your chest?"....Pardon?

3 Day Ventilation and Sedation After Aortic Valve Replacement?
Has anyone else had a valve replacement
surgery
were they were told they had to be ventilated and sedated for 3 days following
surgery
? Ventilation damages the lungs and those who are ventilated following
surgery
have poorer outcomes according to every single research paper I read on pub, med!

Cystitis post endometriosis surgery
Hi, I had stage 3 endometriosis
surgery
just over 4 months ago. Endo was removed from bowel, bladder, ovaries etc. Prior to my
surgery
I used to get cystitis only after intercourse which would go away after a course of antibiotics.

Partial Circumcision Healing Nhs
After
surgery
my penis is extremely bruised and swollen and it looks like I have only been given a partial circumcision as only half the glans is visible (not sure if this will change when the swelling goes down) Has anybody else had a partial circumcision, as there is still some foreskin the stitches

Omeprazole use
In the 80s I had serious ulcer issues resulting in major
surgery
and had Omeprazole been around then that would not of happened. Acid reflux can cause idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis which I also have and this is terminal. If you can get used to the Omeprazole great you won't regret it.
