Cracking cough, blocked ears
with the cough and it seemed to be getting worse, I wasn't bringing anything up, so I gave up and called in sick at work and went to the doctors 30th October, she gave me a blue inhaler to take 4 puffs a day and I had no wax in my ears, it seems to me fluid behind the ear drum so she advises to take

Faffing can be good...!
demanded food, then another trip to the loo, blow my nose yet again, decide to take some
sudafed
for it... then went back to the door to see that the grey morning had turned into absolute torrential rain... what to do, what to do... 10 more mins of faffing & before I realised that the rain had stopped

My experiences on the effects of; lifestyle changes, supplements and drugs while trying to combat RLS.
. - Antidepressants: Some SSRI's & SNRI's (Venlafaxine is what I tried) As above - Cold medication (
Sudafed
etc): As above - Melatonin (Natural sleep aid): Tried this three times and each time had much worse RLS. Reasearch should be done as to why, I couldn't find anything.

Anyone had experience with Sudafed?
Does anyone here have experience with
Sudafed
? I don't recall having those issues but like I said it's been a long time and I was anxious then too.

Magnesium has helped
I was taking one 4 hour
Sudafed
daily for allergies and inner ear. Doctor had me stop in October and start taking Magnesium. One or both of these actions Ihas helped immensely. It could be that I really didn't have RLS.

Stupid Boy.
Two
Sudafed
cold capsules to help with the cough and a strong cup of full fat coffee with loads of sugar when we arrived. Caffeine does affect ectopics and SVT believe me. For a minute there I thought I was back in AF but I was shaking too much to take my pulse.

Anyone had adverse side effects taking phenylephrine whilst on thyroid replacement?
I have read you shouldn't take
sudafed
etc..whilst taking levo and assume it's the same for ndt. However in the instructions for my supermarket own brand it only advises against taking them if you are hyper not hypo and doesn't mention levo.

My Dr gave me 3 days of
Sudafed
which did nothing together with antihystamine & nasal spray. Will this ever end? All every one keeps telling me is to be patient! I need to know for how long?????? :-(

GCA and remission
Have found
Sudafed
to be the best thing for that. I am on 22 mg Pred having reduced over 7 months from 60 mg. I go down 1 mg at a time and stick at that for a week but I do get odd flare ups still. Many thanks for all the help I have had on this site especially from Dorsetlady and PCPro.
