Hi everyone,

I'll be talking to my doc about this but I wanted to also see what you all talk for allergy medication. I know to stay away from Sudafed and others like it. Any allergy meds known to trigger afib?

As a person who had multiple allergies I am afraid I have to tell you we are all different.

3 years ago I had patch tests which concluded that I was allergic to 110 different things.

Currently my issue that directly relate to my AF and now Atrial Tachycardia are the fact that I seem to now be allergic to steroids as well as ECG stickers and the like.

I am being referred to an Allergy Specialist consultant.

Talk to your doctors for the best guidance.

Pete

There is a possibility that this could be related to poor gut microbes. Probiotics, especially those that include ones that a baby would have (!), may help, along with L-glutamine to help heal the gut.
