So this time last year I was being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis....looking back I thought things were really bad and that I was really struggling....if only I'd known what this year had in stall for me, I wouldn't have complained! It started off as pain and restricted movement in my wrist and

Well no wiser
Went for rheumy appointment this morning and no wiser. Still raised RF but anti CCP and ANA negative from last visit 5 weeks ago. ESR and CRP also normal dont know if this is relevant as I had started to improve over the week prior to last appointment. Ultrasound did not demonstrate any active inflammation

Recently diagnosed with RA - this is my first venture into writing a blog
I'm another new person to this site and have been reading other peoples blogs, so thought it was time i joined in too. It's good to hear from other people with similar symptoms. I was diagnosed with RA in September this year, after having trouble since April , starting with tendonitis in my ankle,

flaming flare :(
Well after about a week of feeling good the inevitable has happened, yes you've guessed it I have flared. The thing is I don't know if it is the PMR or the RA or both at the same time. I am thinking the latter. I have had to ring the rheumy nurse as my toes and fingers are numb with pain if that makes

Had an appointment with the consultant today who I have been desperate to see as I have been in so much pain over the last 3 months. My GP wrote to him 2 months ago to see if I could get an earlier appointment than the one scheduled for today, but never heard anything from him. In July I was prescribed

Well got weighed this morning and lost 1 stone from heaviest only 6 to go. How am I doing it? Healthy calorie controlled diet and exercise oh and am trying apple cider vinegar tablets. I heard some of you discussing it on here for arthritis and also found that it was supposed to help with weight loss

Hello. I'm new to the site and was diagnosed earlier this year with sero-negative inflammatory arthritis.
After years of thrashing around from dermatologists to gynaecologists through hip replacements, physio, anti-inflammatories and a whole lot else.. I finally saw a rheumatologist and had something of a diagnosis. Things seem to have happened so fast, since. I'm feeling a bit lost about it all to
