Extra steroids?
Since I'm getting no sense out of him, is there anyone on here know if using Beconase as well as oral
steroids
can have a bad effect? It doesn't seem to at the moment - usual insomnia problems as I've just tapered, but apart from that ok.

Confused
The
Steroids
definitely helped my PMR as I couldn't move in the mornings before taking them and have treated each flare with success with an increased dose of Prednisolone. So now I don't know where I am.

Alendronic acid for oa ?
Having read the leaflet, it says not to take
steroids
whilst using? I have at least 4 lung infections every year and prednisolone has to be taken with antibiotics and dies help a lot. I am concerned that I can’t take prednisone when I get a chest infection if I use the Alendronic acid.

prednisolone and excess sweating
However, I did have a booster shot of
steroids
about four weeks ago due to a long term flair. The jab is really helping but I’ve gained weight (maybe fluid retention) and sweating profusely which can be quite embarrassing.Just wondered if anybody else had this issue with temperature control?

On going RSV vaccine comments
I wish I had been as lucky - it might have prevented me getting yet another dose of Bronchiectasis, (which started out as a cold) More strong antibiotics for two weeks, more
steroids
and feeling really poorly.

Mycophenolate Mofetil Anyone?
He appeared satisfied that I was on long term 5.5 Prednisolone (I had previously run into trouble at 5mg) but his follow up letter indicated a plan to offer me Mycophenolate Mofetil as a DMARD to get me off
steroids
. Has anyone had experience of this treatment ?

Minor surgery and pred
I was told that 5 was the magic number they were interested but am wondering if they just ignore the
steroids
all together lower than 5. I will be flourishing that steroid treatment card for sure! Just to be on the safe side.

Swollen red cheek andslight jaw pain on one side.
Great improvement on
steroids
. Yesterday she had slight jaw pain and this morning her face is red and swollen. Could this be a flare. She is on 20mg per day of prednisolone.

?PMR onset Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was put on 15mg
steroids
initially, which was increased to 20mg after 3 weeks as still in so much pain, and also added in 15mg s/c Methotrexate. I’m still confused by the diagnosis as I had no previous history of PMR!

CLL, Alcalabrutinib, Low Testosterone
The
steroids
they gave me for gout made such a difference, i felt normal for 5 days. I asked for
steroids
but was refused due to the risk of side effects. Told my GP Doctor about the fatigue and he sent me for a blood test this is how the low T was identified.
