Hi there, Had a overall physical of everything which included PSA which was 6 in 2016 and didn't put any attention to it and ignored it, nobody I spoke with who saw the report said to do anything. No family history of prostate cancer that I know of. Now 7 years later age 64, PSA 18, Free PSA 11%

I have my second surgery tomorrow and just to add to the pain I’ve come on my period tonight. Now I’m in an anxiety spiral, will they still do they surgery? I’ve worked myself up for it now!

Hi all. I suffer with Severe Spinal Stenosis. I’ve already had Laminectomy (Decompression) surgery which only worked for about 3 months the pain then returned. This has been going on for the last 5 years and, unfortunately, in the meantime I had to have a Triple Heart Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair

Reoccurring pelvic pain
Has anyone had a tubo ovarian uterus abscess? I've had this for over a year and now it's causing issues with my bowels and bladder and it's interfering with work, worried about taking more time off. I've been hospitalised twice and put on iv drip. Had so many antibiotics this past year both by drip

Post ablation tubal sterilisation syndrome (PATTS)
Has anyone else had both of these surgeries and gone on to have excruciating pain? During my surgery they found endometriosis and I've since had an MRI and CT scan (as well as lots of useless ultrasounds that find nothing). I've been diagnosed with deep infiltrating endo on ovaries, peritoneum and bowel

Surgical removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes
Hi,I've just seen a consultant and due to have surgery to remove my ovaries and fallopian tubes. I'm nervous about the surgically induced Menopause this will bring about. Has anyone had this surgery, and if so, how were the symptoms afterwards? Thanks in advance for sharing.

potential OC?
Hello. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or has experienced anything similar. In October I had surgery to remove 2 large cysts in both of my ovaries and endometriosis/ adhesions in my pelvis. The dr then wanted to put me on the contraceptive pill to stop the pain I was getting with my period

MRI for Endometriosis - MRI machine process
Hi, it's not solely regarding Endo as such but more so the MRI side of things. I had an MRI with contrast yesterday - great experience (as far as medical and being injected goes) but I keep thinking about something more and more ... The scan started and the team then took me back out and said that metal

5mg for flair…..?
I’ve now been on 5mg for 4 days and I definitely am less stiff and the pain is not as bad in my legs and back … my question is… how long should I stay on this dose before considering to increase to 6 if it doesn’t continue to improve? I’ve given up trying to ask the gp .. it’s impossible to get through

Hi, feeling a little deflated. Had my first annual surveillance CT scan with contrast in relation to the kidney cancer I had. I had a partial nephrectomy last Feb and all is well. No further indication of any spread. Thankfully it was a low grade small tumour but I am still considered high risk. When

Have you experience of Chemotherapy and underactive thyroid?
I have recently completed chemo following surgery for a bowel tumour. I was wondering if anyone has experience of chemotherapy and underactive thyroid? I have continued to take 75 T4 and 20 T3. It’s difficult to know if the fatigue / sleep problems are to do with the thyroid or chemo. many thanks.

Angry!
Hi there! I’m writing for support because I’m angry. I fell down the steps and broke my foot in December. I needed immediate surgery and have been recovering slowly, but surely. My sister called me to pick a fight and ended up telling me to go fall down stairs again and to break my other foot. She said

Compressions
HelloI am 9 weeks post TKR in right knee and I think I might have a problem with my Compressions. I have lower leg Lymphoedema and my left leg was always worst for swelling. Since my knee surgery, my right leg is swelling more. Obviously, this would be partly due to the surgery but when I wear my compression

I had open heart surgery over four months ago. Straight after the surgery I felt fine and could hold a conversation with people. The week after (once home) I felt I was present in the room but struggled to communicate. I would have the conversation mapped out in my head along with what I wanted to

FUMING, Bloody GP's
posting as otherwise I will wind up having a hissy fit. Not really a thyroid issue but just shows how poor the system is. Had a smear December 14th, had had some niggling worries so thought right sort it out. Phoned GP's to ask for signposting to appropriate service. I was told we'll book you in

CP and Endometriosis?
When I was in my 20's, I was dealing with what I thought were ovarian cysts, and pain on my right side. I had a laparoscopy, and I was told I had scar tissue from "a previous surgery", only I'd never had surgery! Turns out it was endometriosis, which causes scar tissue. In my case, the tissue caused
