low TSH
I have autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed 23yrs ago and have been on the hypothyroid treadmill since. Yet again GP wants to reduce my levothyroxine and liothyronine as my TSH is 0.12. this happens regularly and my TSH never changes. Many years ago an ultrasound of my thyroid showed it was “shrivelled

ferritin still low
As mentioned before my ferritin is 13, can’t tolerate any oral form and have had infusions in the past. Am being denied infusion as Full bloods are within range, no idea what to do now, eating plenty of iron rich foods, feeling really unwell and down. Recent test results: B12=651(187-883), vit D=92(

When to take Medication, Vits and HRT?
Hi All Please can you give me some advice? I would like to begin taking Estrogen (Lenzetto spray) and Progesterone (Utrogestan) again. I am fearful though, when I began taking it last time my TSH went up to 28 so had to stop taking it. I was taking it a few hours in a morning after my thyroid

Amiodarone and existing hypothyroidism
What effect does it have on TSH blood results. Mine came back 0.25. I’m so fatigued and piling on weight. I thought the lower the reading result it shows hyperthyroidism. Have I now become hyperthyroid. Am I correct? Is the amiodarone (for persistent my A Fib) throwing out my thyroid?

Changes in TSH.
My daughter had her TSH privately tested in April and the result was 4.5mIU/L, the highest it has ever been. The blood was taken in the evening after flying back from Seville. In June (at lunchtime) her GP tested it and the results was 1.2 which is the lowest it's ever been. She was about to increase

Hi I was diagnosed with an underactivity Thyroid in Sept 2006 and since then have been taking 100 mcg Levothyroxine. Over the years I have been feeling very tired, and escalting weight gain. My GP is always telling me that my Thyroid blood tests are normal. Through consulting with a private UK based

Results - help please
Hi there,I am posting on behalf of my mum (I have hashis and in my own personal nightmare!). She has diagnosed hypothyroidism, not autoimmune. She is 72, has been on levo for around 20 years, current dose 75mg, she doesn't specify a brand so I suspect it's whatever the pharmacist gives her. Serum ferritin

test results on 2 and 3/4 Thyrogold
This is my latest blood test which is good and bad. Happy that my vitamin levels apart from D are good (no supplements for 6 weeks prior) but my levels for T3 and TSH are bad the worst I’ve had since taking NDT. Yes it was done in the afternoon (15.40) but I was of the opinion that it needs to be 8-12

I used to be a doer and now have zero motivation or interest in anything. I’m deffo menopausal as I had a full well woman

Bit disappointed in this response from a consultant
GP says my dose of levothyroxine is good (50) with levels around Serum TSH level 2.23 mIU/L [0.27 - 4.2] Serum free T4 level 17.1 pmol/L [12.0 - 22.0] I said I wanted to trial more so she suggested checking with a consultant who replied thus: And I'm a bit disappointed 😞 And I haven't yet done

Could I actually have a thyroid issue? Thyroid tests seem fine. Confused, please help
Hi everyone, I’m seeing a functional doctor in Brazil (online, so there’s some limitation) and also working with a few traditional medicine doctors in the UK. I became an useless person over the last year, I went from bright and lively to stupid, fat, insomnia ridden, gold-fish memory, paper thin

Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP surgery the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested. However, these are my results and, as is clear

Hello. I am normally to be found on the PA forum but, as we all know, one autoimmune disease can often be followed by another. For that reason I have taken the advice of my fellows there and had my thyroid tested. Got the results today. They all seem within range but that doesn’t mean optimal of course

Help, GP appointment tomorrow still can't get them to listen.
So the saga continues, Sneaky GP has refused to reinstate 150mcg daily since reducing it to 150mcg eod in November when TSH 0.01 , 0.27- 4.2, FT4 21.6 12-22, .my HbA1c went up to 54 Vit D 125 , Endo recently said this level was dangerously toxic thought the range BH anyway of 75-200 was optimal
