Possible back surgery questions.

Soon I will be seeing a spinal surgeon for my lower back.

Have any of you had spinal surgery while on prednisone? If so how much were you on? How long did it take to recover?

My spinal injections are only lasting a few weeks now.

I have had two replacement hips while on pred.

I was able to walk the following day, I was told I was pretty impressive by the physio. So I am not sure pred made much difference.

I have had lower back surgery and shoulder surgery after diagnosis and on pred. Both successful and both with a steroid booster to help with the stress of surgery on my body. Best wishes.
