Combined Pill Worries
Hi, I started the pill 10 days ago on the first day of my period. I had my usual period, but I haven't stopped bleeding since starting the pill. Is this normal? There have been some clots in the blood, which is a dark red almost brown colour. Should I be worried???

Periods started back up again.
Hiah,Yesterday I started my menstrual cycle after a year of not having one due to taking the deceptoyl Injection and hrt. I had surgery in December and stage 3 was removed. I finished the injection and hrt in Feb and my period had only just come back. This time it has been different, the pain is there

Looking for support - glioblastoma
Hi, My 72 year old wife was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 glioma / glioblastoma. Short history is one hospital wanted to dive right in and do surgery. A 2nd opinion initially ruled it as inoperable after a biopsy. Then they did some tests to determine viability of an "awake" surgical resection.

First period after laparoscopy
I had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago for stage 3 endo removal and cyst removal. I am currently on my first period. I had read lots of stories of it being worse, awful pain, heavy bleeding etc. But I have had a few cramps but these have eased with paracetamol/ibuprofen and bleeding is nowhere near as heavy

post lap bleeding
I’ve had my laparoscopy (in more pain than before, hoping it’s just recovery!) but I’m bleeding so heavily. I’m only day 5 post but I never got told anything at the hospital, I asked if the bleeding was normal to the nurse and she just said “yep” and walked off. It’s extremely heavy like my periods yet

Implantation bleeding?
I’ve suffered with irregular periods for years, so commenting on whether or not I am late for my period is next to impossible. However, due to the irregular ovulation, when I do come on my period, it’s usually pretty heavy and I think it’s a result of all of the missed periods. I came on last

Feeling confused and disheartened..
Hi everyone, I started seeing gynaecology in 2020 for pelvic pain and heavy bleeding and was fitted with the Mirena coil (still in-situ). Previous ultrasounds have been clear apart from a 3cm cyst and free fluid in the pelvis. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy in Sep 2021 with a general gynae which came

Just an update on my wife (Jackie, diagnosed since 29th Jan 23) and her PSP path, she had a visit from the Speech and Language therapy team yesterday and it's not good. She's struggling with food, she'd said that food wasn't going down. So they tried her with a sandwich and she couldn't clear it after

Hoarse voice after thyroid surgery
Hello - I am 28 years old and I had a diagnostic thyroid lobectomy (right side) 5 weeks ago, histology results found it was follicular thyroid carcinoma but thankfully MDT concluded it was non -invasive so no further treatment has been recommended at this time. My voice was very hoarse after the surgery
