Hi ladies...so tomorrow is the day I been waiting for it literally feels like a lifetime to get to this point but hear we are at last 😊. 10 am tomorrow I will be on the 2ww journey 2 of my eggs were doing really well growing like they should, 3 they call average and 2 not doing so well, but I only need one of the really good 1ns to do what it's supposed to and make us a baby 😊. Wishing everyone the best of luck on their journeys...p.s anyone got any info on how well icsi works and not ivf as mine was changed at the last moment. Wondering if it more chance or less ? X

Happy for you dear .. to have reached such a crucial moment in your journey :) Hope it would work for you now.. As for icsi there's definitely more chances.. than with simple ivf.. Icsi presupposes they would insert the best piece of sperm directly into your egg cell with a kind of syringe.. while during the typical ivf they just mix them in the test tube and wait that to work.. so don't worry here since you do have better chances in that case.. Good luck for you tomorrow morning.. fingers crossed x

I was under the impression ICSI gives higher fertilisation rate xx

Good luck today. I think ICSI gives you a higher fertilisation chance which is good but there is also the chance that the embryo that forms may not be top quality as they only pick the best looking sperm. They can't see if there are any genetic defects which will make the lining reject the embryo. We had a good fertilisation rate but our embie didn't stick and they said there must have been something wrong with it. All the best though. I've read lots of successful ICSI stories on here so hopefully we were one of the unfortunate few and yours will be successful. x
