Nurse appointment questions

Hi we have our appointment with nurse thursday to begin icsi. 1 will be day 5 of my cycle and we are having flare short protocol with 350 strength i believe. The nurse said on phone we would be starting drugs/meds on day 21 so hopefully mid feb. Are there any questions i should ask?

Also the clinics AMH test showed i had AMH of 1.7 at age (turning 38 next week) hence the protocol decision. I had a test with NHS shortly after which showed AMH of 6.9 and also a ultrasound of my uterus which showed 6 follicles on one ovary and a few on the other. I am wondering if this changes things? Obviously with my age i am cincerned about egg quality and wondered if it would be worth suggesting no drugs/natural cycle? Can the drugs reduce egg quality further. Interested to hear any thoughts including diane arnolds. Any advice?

hey.. so i dont know anything about this protocol unfortunately but I would say use your appt to ask any and all questions you might have.

But i would say that im sure your clinic has chosen whatever protocol they feel will give you the best outcome

Its a stressful time and I think we just tend to overthink everything xo

I had my consent app yesterday too at Glasgow GCRM for Icsi also having flare protocol as my amh is 4.3!

Yesterday was my day 21 too so they started us on it yesterday.

Here’s hoping feeling good about it all, was nervous about Egg retrieval but feel better about it after our app yesterday x
