I wanted to write this post because I found posts like this very helpful on our journey but i am sorry if it upsets anyone.
After 2 x 8 week miscarriages; 5 chemical pregnancies (all natural), and 1 failed round of IVF, we welcomed our little Jamie into the world on Wednesday after our second round using icsi. A female doctor told me at 39 to keep trying naturally and when I refused she said you would be better using donor eggs then for ivf. I also refused. When the first round of ivf failed, I challenged the protocol and demanded icsi. I'm so glad I stuck to my guns. At 40 years old my dreams came true. Still cannot believe it. Good luck everyone and never give up! Xx

Congratulations he is beautiful ❤️ All the hard work paid off! I have just had my 2nd miscarriage and had one failed IVF, I was wondering how ICSI helped? My partners sperm was ‘normal’ in the initial tests and we formed blastocysts but I’m wondering if there’s something we need to look into more with his sperm?
Congratulations 🥳 he’s gorgeous 😍 and power to all the women over 40. It’s archaic for anyone to tell you you’re too old. Yes the stats show it’s harder but it’s never impossible. ❤️🥰 I hope the birth wasn’t traumatic and all the best for the coming weeks x
So cute. Congratulations. I know what you mean in your story. I also feel I lead the way to our rainbow dream. Enjoy the baby. The sleepless nights hurt so much less after what we have been through…
