Can't see a happy ending, can anyone help?
It's been a while since I've been in touch, so much has happened, I'm 28, been in a 6 yr relationship, no kids, desperately want, I have severe endo, an active cyst wrapped round my ovary. Had a flexible sigmoid yesterday and they have found out I am a rare case as now the endo has grown through my bowel

Nothing, then two come along together
Just when I was beginning to wonder if I would ever have a hospital inpatient stay again I get two close together. Just over a month ago I felt pretty ill and started throwing up some very dark brown granulated looking stuff which 111 decided was blood and sent an ambulance out, they agreed and I was

Yes ladies (and a few gents) I think I have finally gone mad. As you know from previous posts, I am a-symptomatic, and I was on a wait and see what happens. Well it's happened......rising CA125 now at 3821 and in the oncologists words, "things are growing". Spots here there and everywhere, but the

Colostomy problems - parastomal hernia?
Don't know why I never asked advice from you lovely ladies before. I am sure someone out there has an answer or can give me some advice. I have a permanent colostomy following debulking surgery in November 2012. Never knew I was going to have one so it was a bit of a shock. I must admit I have never

Choice of chemo drugs
Diagnosed with stage 3 oc and have been offered chemo of carboplatin with taxol. I had stoma surgery 2 weeks ago in readiness for this. Although I'm new to the site, having read many of the posts I realise there are many of you who have already been through so much. So do any of you have opinions about

Failed salpingectomy
Hi Ladies, I had a laparoscopy early September to remove both my tubes which are blocked by endometriosis to give the next cycle of ivf a chance to work. With my first cycle, the consultant found fluid had leaked into my uterus from the damaged tubes which probably prevented the embryo from implanting

Surgery booked
So in two weeks it's surgery number three, bowel resection round two! Possible stoma number one! But this time I am terrified, not entirely sure why, maybe the suggestion that my endo has progressed to deeply infiltrating endo or maybe the longer you have endo and the longer you deal with it the more

Post op depression
Hello. I have exstensive surgery to remove endo from my vagina and bowels. I am still in the intensive care unit and feeling really crap to put it bluntly. Has anyone else had a stoma? I have to have one for about 3 months. Any advice would be good. I am feeling really down about it.

Newbie looking for advice/support
Hi all. I have been suffering with poor digestive health and bowel issues most of my life. It has become much worse over the past year. I am at the point where several surgeons have said a bag is my best option, perhaps the most extreme but also the safest. I am a small lady with pre existing issues

Deeply Infiltrating Endometriosis - Anyone had resection resulting in a temporary stoma?
I have just had a check up only to come out with surgery booked and a new diagnosis of DI Endo, several follow up appointments with a stoma nurse and colorectal surgeon with a view to removing a large portion of bowel etc. Looking for advice and tips on getting my head round all of this and what to expect

As I have an over active stoma, I am told to avoid high fibre foods. My advised diet is high fat.Cholesterol level is now 13.6.
When two different problems collide, it makes you wonder what to do.

Any advice for the newly diagnosed ovarian carcinosarcoma (stage 3C MMT)? Vitamins? Nutrition? Ostomy bags? Exercise?
My mother has recently been diagnosed stage IIIc MMT ovarian cancer. She had already previously had a hysterectomy so this won't be part of the treatment. They have surgically removed the tumors, which crushed her colon and now has a colostomy bag which has been a nightmare to sort out. Chemo starts

Hi, I'm recovering from a bowel resection after recent surgery for my endo and wondered whether anyone else had had this done? Thanks
I've been diagnosed for over ten years, have had previous laps and diathermy which worked in the short term. My recent op removed my right Fallopian tube, unstuck all the fused areas, but was complicated by the endo which had gone through my bowle wall causing a stricture. I now have a stoma, and am
