What impact does mouth breathing have on afib/ectopics?
I've seen a few bits and pieces around the internet on this, but nothing solid. I also saw a topic on afibbers about people taping their mouths shut, etc to force nose breathing. Problem for me is that I have a dysfunctional breathing issue, which I've had for a couple of years and I'm struggling to

I personally really struggle - I find sometimes I can’t run 10 mins without needing to go to the toilet! I do have occasional good runs to however! Just wondering if anyone else suffers

Has anyone experience of Ospemifene
Hi I am interested to hear of anyones experience of taking the oral tablet Ospemifene and does it help with atrophy. Is it available in the UK? I am unable to use vagifem and estriol; the discharge burns and causes so much discomfort. I am due to see a pelvic floor dermatologist in a couple of days

Pelvic adhesions
Hi all, May anyone who has had abdominal adhesions or pelvic adhesions tell me what it was like? And what you did to resolve them? At first I thought I had pelvic floor dysfunction, but my PT doesn’t think i do. So I am looking for other consequences of Pelvic inflammatory disease, and found a lot of

Watery bathroom trips
Hi all x I have IBS-D which I manage through a gluten free diet and try to avoid certain fodmaps - this has got rid of the cramping etc. However if I don’t take an Imodium weekly, I’ll have watery frequent bowel movements - Even after taking my Imodium I am still able to have a BM each day so that’s

Crohns treatment
Hi, I’m new to this site and was diagnosed last summer with Crohns. I was started on Pentasa, which unfortunately did not keep the disease at bay and I suffered a severe flare and have been on steroids off and on since December. I have since been on Adalimumab for 12 weeks and have been off the steroids

Will I ever be able to go out without thinking I’m going to s**t myself!
Sorry for the crude title but I’m fed up now. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in December. I’d had symptoms since March 2018 and took this long to be diagnosed. Anyways I’ve had two lots of a 6 week steroid course and I’m on pentasa. Everytime I take the steroids it improves. The bleeding and

Endo and Ulcerative Colitis
Hi ladies, I have stage 4 of endometriosis and also ulcerative colitis. Do someone have ulcerative colitis or chron disease? If you do, what symptoms do you experience? In my case I have a cyst of 8 cm in my left ovary, an endo nodule of 2.5 cm in the rectum and my right ovary tied up to the uterus.

Medication help
Hi all, I hope everyone is as well as can be at the moment. I was diagnosed roughly 2 years ago and put on pentasa suppositories. October time last year I reported to my gastro doc that I was having more blood & mucus. She requested a calprotectin test which came back as elevated then put me on pentasa

Antidepressants and Biologics??
Hey guys, first post here. Good to know there’s a community for this stuff as I’m sure if you’ve all had to deal with a ton of stuff over the last little while. I’m wondering if anyone has had any problems getting their antidepressants to work while they’ve been on a biologic? I went on Avanza (antidepressants

Update on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis treatment.
Just a wee update on my previous post on being diagnosed with IPF. I have now been prescribed the drug Nintenidab and Mycophenalate has been removed as it had stopped being effective. There has not been any diahorrea thank goodness! But, have had a 'rumbly tummy' ever since starting on the new med. last

PCP Pneumonia Prophylaxis
I went to my first rheumatologist visit on November 21. Had been on 60 mg prednisone since October 15. She told me I now have essentially no working immune system, and am at high risk for Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP). She started me on Bactrim (TMP/SMX) 3 times weekly as prophylaxis. I did a quick search

Hi everyone, last April I was diagnosed with Microscopic colitis. After a course of Budesonide, I have thankfully felt very well. Trouble is a couple of days ago I started to suffer from Sciatica...and it's agony. I tried Paracetamol, but it didn't touch the pain. Yesterday in desperate need of some
