Why I'm here-
Prostate hurt so bad on a 12-mile run in '84 I had to screech to a halt and lock my butt cheeks 'til it passed. Had to sleep with a pillow between my legs in the '90's betimes and bled out the penis on a run in '09. So on. Had a non-ischemic stroke on a Friday in '15; Saint Elaine (wife) brought a squeeze

BPH, retrograde ejaculation and mental health (newbie post)
Hi guys, this is my first post. I was diagnosed with benign prostatic hypersplasia last year and have been on several treatments since then, in an attempt to avoid their respective side effects. At the moment I'm on a combination of finasteride and prazosin, with a view to phasing out the prazosin once

Prazosin with Docetaxel?
New Australian cell study below [1]. Looks like Prazosin may increase Docetaxel-induced toxicity. "Some quinazoline-based alpha1-adrenoceptor (ADR) antagonists have previously been shown to have cytotoxic actions in PCa cells, but there is no research into their effects on docetaxel-induced toxicity.

Strange case of my Dad's PCa
As many of you know, I have recently posted about my dad's Bone Mets PCa. Here's the strange part about my dad's case, I was hoping if someone experience this or know what's going on. My dad has been visiting urologist for the past two years, and did regular checks and taking Tamsulosin pills for urinating

Metal Rod in femur 2004 due to accident and osteomalacia
Hi all I have a burning question. I've had this rod in my leg now since around 2004. I get the odd excruciating side affects of leg pain in my sciatic nerve and the lower vertebra of my spine. I learnt to cope with these episodes over the years but still debilitating in my life. Now I have never

I've had BPH for about 10 years, I'm now in my 60's. I've taken one 400mg capsule of Tamsulosin per day after breakfast for the past 7 years. It does relieve the symptoms a bit during the day and apart from water-thin semen or even dry climax. There are no other bad side effects. However I have to get
