K2 and magnesium
HI all, sorry its me again. I was thinking of taking the above. What dose should I be looking for on both and also which type of magnesium as there is different types. I understand these help with the absorption of the calcium.

Help for extreme pain in thighs and arms
I took my last prednisone tablet mid May (GCA diagnosed late April 2019); cortisol test in June was 203 (reference range in Canada is 135-537); 380 in September so my adrenal glands are well on their way to recovery. I have been on Actemra injections since October 2019, now every three weeks (until January

HAS SUPERIOR SOURCE STOPPED MANUFACTURING SUBLINGUAL B1?
After nearly 4 years of trying to get the right dose of B1, switching to sublingual B1 twice then back to HCl, my HwP gets instantaneous good results with the sublingual (stops his arms flying around in bed at night and we think it helps with his balance as he hasn’t fallen over at tennis the last few

Need information on overactive bladder and magnesium deficiency
Has has anyone had any luck with a relatively safe medication for an overactive bladder as well as a magnesium deficiency. Most meds for overactive bladder say they're not suitable for those with CKD. For the magnesium, I'm using the glyconate version an I'm having trouble tolerating even a half

Iron Test Results
Could I please share my results, I struggle sometimes to follow what I should be looking for. I had a full fasting iron panel test that had to be repeated because my transferrin saturation was below range at 15% (suggested range was 20.0 - 40.0)., therefore, I am wondering if 40mg Solgar Gentle

When to take my folic acid?
Hi everyone - just looking for advice on when to take my folic acid tablet. After weeks of back and forth with the doctors - who said my medichecks blood results did not show a need for a supplement, they insisted on doing a blood test themselves: this is the result - 2.8 ug/L [2.0 -18.7] with notes

cryoablation
Well the 18th of this month will be a year since the ablation and the past month has not been kind. My heart is fluttering more and more again and it's not pleasant. I took some potassium which helps a little along with my magnesium and my prescription meds. The past month I have been working more and

vitamin advice
hi, I’ve got myself bogged down in an effort to take supplements to help with bone loss. I was diagnosed with osteopenia following a DEXA scan. I don’t want to take Alendronic acid and my GP agreed with me taking vitamin D3 + K2 mk7 and magnesium glycinate and to have a further DEXA scan in three years

low ferritin high transferrin saturation
I am aware my ferritin is in the lower range and has been going downwards. However when I had full iron panel in August my transferrin saturation was just out of range in the upper level. I have read that one thing that can factor this is dehydration so I am trying to up my water intake. But does

Advice before talking to Dr
Hello all, I realise it is Sunday evening but I am seeing the dr in the morning and was hoping for advice on what to say. I spoke to the dr about ongoing symptoms of lack of energy and flu like body aches. She wanted me to have a range of blood tests before choosing a path. All blood tests have come

Magnesium dosing - less is more?
There have been tons of good posts on this subject over which versions to use, how much to dose and whether tablet or oil or bath salts etc. My minor point to add is that I have kept going over the last couple of years with magnesium glycinate and found it consistently brilliant - but as time has gone

Coordinating pill times help please
Need some guidance please on the best timings for thyroxine and vitamins. I’ve just received my first pack of thyroxine and not decided on when to take them yet. I feel night time might be better as I’ll have the day free to take everything else. Although I’m leaning towards the morning as I wake up

ROPINIROLE IS THE DEVIL FOR SURE!
First developed RLS years ago, but didn’t even know it was a condition. I thought I was simply going off my head, until a nurse in hospital noticed the uncontrollable violent thrashing id do with my right leg (initially). She told me to go to GP when I was discharged and tell him about this unbearable
