Meds Review.
Had a meds review yesterday with the very helpful Pharmacist attached to our GP surgery. I have spoken to him before when he switched me from lansaprozole to famotidine. He even asked me how I was getting on with that yesterday.Went through all my issues which may be linked to my meds: tiredness, fatigue

Help with supplements
I recently had bloods taken and the doctors has prescribed 100 mcg of levothyroxine which I have started. I had a lot of symptoms and just had a baby but suspected thyroid issues before as it runs in my family & had symptoms. Based on the results what would be the advice on dose and which supplements

On Thyroxine - 8 weeks bloods shows TSH has dropped but still feel dreadful.
Hi all I’m on daily 50mg Levothyroxine for 8 weeks after private bloods showed the following; TSH 6.51 (R 0.27-4.2) T3 4.1 (R 3.1-6.8) T4 14.6 (R 12-22) High antibodies so likely Hashimotos. GP was reluctant to prescribe me, but did at the advice of an Endocrinologist. For reference I am 5ft

Benefit of iron for Restless Sleep Disorder/ADHD in children
https://www.mdpi.com/2514-183X/7/3/18 Another fascinating article confirming the benefits ( and safety) of iron infusions for children with restless sleep disorder and/or ADHD. The required serum ferritin levels are between 50-100. As with adults, there do seem to be 'non responders' to iron therapy

Update for my daughter re loading injections. and the rest.
My daughter has her appt with GP yesterday - she's 19 and although I was planning to go, had to agree when she said she wanted to do it on her own. Which I regretted! Here is the earlier thread which contains her results etc.: https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/149760385/daughter-starting-b12-

Gabapentine or Pregabalin?
I am wondering whether there is any difference between Gabapentine and Pregabalin in terms of effectiveness. I take 2400 mg Gabapentine per day in 3X800 mg doses, but while I sleep my ok wife cannot sleep because of my movement. I am wondering if there is any other possible treatment that might work

Hi beautiful people, I shared a number of posts here about my thyroid journey. I switched to Erfa brand NDT 2 weeks ago after being on levo for 2 decades. I started from 0.5 grain, increased to 1 grain and then to 1,5 grains. I've been on 1,5 grains for about 5 days now. I checked my bloods 2 weeks

Ferrittin level (Different Opinions)
Last Wednesday (26th July) I had my 3 monthly blood test in relation to my Myelofibrosis and asked for my Ferrittin level and TSATS to be checked also. The Nurse/Clinician found Ferrittin on the data base but not TSATS and was a bit baffled by the whole TSATS thing. I concluded that I would only get
