Sodium cromoglicate - GP won't supply any more
I have MCAS and POTS (as well as autoimmune, ME/CFS, histamine intolerance and a raft of other conditions) and recently started on
sodium
cromoglicate. The outcome has been almost miraculous - the first medication of my many that seems to have had any real effect.

Low sodium levels in bloodwork
His
sodium
levels have been trending downward since his dx. He experiences frequent periods of confusion throughout the day and I always attributed this to severe blood pressure swings but now wonder if it is low
sodium
. Is low
sodium
a feature of MSA? Anyone else experience this?

CLL and Lupus labs
I stopped both meds while in hospital with critical low blood
sodium
and have stayed off both. Will NOT take lupus Med again!! I can't seem to keep blood
sodium
number in the normal range. Again. Having both diseases is confusing and a pain in the butt.

👋 bad experience with indapamine.
I felt ill for 14 days and after a blood test I was sent to A and E for emergency treatment, a potassium and
sodium
drop overnight and tablets to take at home for 7 days. I still feel ill and had a blood test today.

Raising Low Sodium Levels
Is there a trick to raise your
sodium
levels and keep them stable? Eating a lot of greens, adding salt - anything else? What else could be causing low
sodium
levels?

Stress, again taking a comeback....
I called docs last Thursday who decided to sign me off because I know my
sodium
levels can drop, I suffer from SIADH, so i didn't want to fall into a coma so i am signed off until 4th March. Why do I feel bad about being off even though I know its for my own health.

Treating constipation hasn't affected the wetting accidents
He was also on 5ml of
sodium
picosulphate but he same off that a few weeks ago as he was getting a very sore bottom. Since being on movicol, he has more poo accidents than he ever had and his wee accidents are just the same, so it's like he is doubly incontinent now.
