Does this sound like ibs?
I’m 33 year old female. I’ve been having stomach problems now since October 2020. It all started when I got lots of pain in my lower right abdomen, I lay on my tummy which made me be sick 3 times the pain subsided but didn’t go completely, but as well as that I started having diarrhoea and loose stools

Had enough
I’ve had IBS-D for about 6/7 years and last year was just awful; I almost had an accident last June (ended up going in a bucket in a shed) which then resulted in me avoiding leaving the house for months. To cut a long story short I had a complete meltdown about it all in August and wound up on amitryptalyn

Alcoholic liver cirrhosis and kidney failure
After he returned from the hospital, I put him on a strict plant-based, low-
sodium
diet, with zero alcohol, but soon he refused food and he would sleep 15-20h a day, and started behaving oddly. Each day passed, and I was getting more worried about his behaviour.

(sigh) another visit to the Emergency Department
I know it may be totally fruitless to note a trigger (I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, have caffeine etc), but I am wondering... last night, hubby & I enjoyed Thai rice with sausages (processed sausages & probably high in
sodium
but oh-so-delicious!)

B12 and electrolyte imbalance
Hi folks I have been struggling with low
sodium
due to laxative use, (I have severe IBS). In the process of trying to correct the
sodium
I changed meds to Linzess and took
sodium
. I think that caused an electrolyte imbalance.

Keto diet - two weeks in
I have spent 2 weeks eating keto way with TRE (only breakfast and lunch, so no food after 4pm) and here are some of my experiences. I was worried about the amount of food I was eating, and my weight loss was not spectacular (1.6kg, and most of it during the first week), but I noticed a few extraordinary

Sodium benzoate in soft drinks?
I wanted to know if anyone has ever had a reaction to
sodium
benzoate (also known as E211), which is a preservative found in a lot of processed foods. Sometimes I feel that my throat/chest is a bit irritated when I drink Diet Coke but then I'm not sure I'm just imagining it!

Movicol and Sodium picosulfate
My son has constipation since March went up to 12 movicol sachets a day. Did not poo for 4 weeks. He was impacted so he had a flush through for 3 days in June. Came home all clear on movicol. Severe cramping pains since September and feeling sick. Just been in hospital for another 3 days. Cries himself

Hello , my question relates to my bloods, re Vitamin B12 replete Plasma Folate level, is a result of 7ng/ml ( 4.0-20.0) considered low?
I have epilepsy and been using medication for 40yrs,
sodium
valproate/epilim. Just discovering it can stop vitamins and minerals being absorbed into the body properly and cause Thyroid problems.

Can anyone help please
I suffered years with health anxiety, towards the end of 2020 I couldn’t stop running to the loo, spoke with my GP who organised a FIT test and full blood count, everything came back normal. Been trying to keep it under control with Imodium but last week it was just getting worse, spoke to my GP again
