I need some help with this
I am having the most painful but weird cramping. It is only a night and it is getting worse, not better. Yesterday I had them and I did not have dialysis because we infiltrated the fistula, AGAIN. We thought it was the iron I was taking, but I stopped that last week. These cramps are not in my calves

How to improve your blood pressure
I have recently fallen in love. With capillaries. In his brilliant book, ‘The Secret Language of Cells’, Dr John Leif, physician and neuroscientist, dedicates a whole chapter to them, calling these tiny vessels, ‘brain centres’ of tissue development. With a yogic lens, this speaks to the body intelligence

Advice?
Close family member has what I think is some stage of CKD; from my reading, likely CKD 3. They insist on alternative health care only. They are taking Ashwagandha, Triphala, Arjuna, Amla, Nattokinase, Resveratrol, Nottoginseng, Eucommia, Red Sage, Rhodiola, Cordyceps/Lion's Mane/Reishi. And a very

Blood Draw Day Yet Again
I feel so blessed that I found a forum where I can pour my heart and anxieties into and receive so much grace back. This road for me as a partner to a spouse battling IGA had not been easy but this place gives me solice and peace. Today we have another blood draw to hopefully see if the heavy proteinuria

Update on swollen eye, low potassium and low BP now hypothyroid issues.
Finally got an emergency blood test yesterday, results today, GP did not ask for potassium which my symptoms were an exact match to low levels! As expected with the high dose of steroids, results all over the place. Liver (Moorfields thought it was the steroids last week), kidneys now and thyroid TSH

Xarelto and enoxaprin sodium at the same time
Is there anyone in this community that is taking Xarelto and enoxaprin sodium at the same time. I am looking for an alternative to aspirin and I’m already on enoxaprin sodium. just wanted to know if there’s anyone else in our group who might be taking both

Could be some positivity for frequent UTI sufferers.
Good morning folks. Just entering the fourth year since my GCA diagnosis and having suffered around 17 UTI's in that time (hospitalised with two) along with constant symptoms in between, I've swallowed tons of D-Mannose, cranberry supplements, given up caffeine, artificial sweeteners, used vaginal pessaries

Where do I go from here?
I've many years history of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Polymyalgia (PMR). I developed vasculitis in August, possibly triggered by apixaban. That had been started after an episode of dramatically low sodium had caused Atrial Fibrillation. I'm now on 25mg prednisolone, azathioprine 125mg daily. This is stops

water balance?
I have what the phlebotomists call "little rolly veins" which translates into multiple sticks at blood draws and having to wait for the "vein whisperer" guy to be available, also very slow and insufficient draws when the vein they finally managed to tap collapses, that kind of thing. So I drink a lot

COPD struggle
Please help! My husband is struggling with COPD. We live in a rural town of 800 so doctors are not nearby. He has started swelling. How do you keep that down? We monitor his diet closely, keep his sodium under 2000. What can you do for the cough? It wakes him up every hour. I am taking care of

Monopost Eye Drops
Hi, does anyone know of an alternative eye drop to monopost. I have been prescribed this to take in each eye once a day at night but after 2 weeks am finding it unbearable even though I am using eye lubrication drops to try and help with the itchy soreness.
