Expiration date
After reading about the (supposed?) shortage of B12 in UK, I, too, am wondering if PanPharma’s shortened expiration date from 2 years to one year has contributed to this perceived shortage. Have we gotten the final answer on why PanPharma shortened their expiry date? Does anyone know if the inactive

Symptoms and possible colon cancer?
At least 10 yrs ago I had a primary physician tell me I most likely have IBS. My bowel movements were always large and I always thought how in the world can a women produce such long logs in a BM. Three months ago in June, I spent two days in the hospital with what the doctors diagnosed as Hyponatremia

Cabazitaxel for dad
Hello all, looking for a bit of advice. My dad’s had 4 sessions of Radium 223 but is feeling generally tired, low energy and is losing weight and new small spots have appeared on a scan. Doc has now suggested no more Radium and trying Cabazitaxel now. He had enzalutamide but this stopped working too.

Paralysed Brother diagnosed with severe heart failure, scared and confused as constantly getting conflicting information
DB was taken to hospital last week suffering severe breathlessness and erratic heartbeat. He is paralysed following a spinal cord injury 7 years ago. Upon admission he was also discovered to have low sodium and calcium and "deranged bloods". I live very far away and so called the hospital every day

adrenal crisis experiences
Good morning, There is no obvious forum for me to post this question to, so I thought I would start with this group since I know some members have addisons and experience with adrenal insufficiency. For those who have experienced an adrenal crisis, did it impact your stomach and back, and if so what

Quick recap: 2011 I saw a doctor form the phone book. I was an airline pilot and one never goes to their FAA AME for any problems less you lose your FAA medical and career. The doctor wanted to do a quick physical because I was a new patient. I saw him because I had a sinus infection that needed

Bone Marrow and blood cells
My husband has been in the hospital for a week. He had been struggling to eat and drink due to nausea. His oncologist had him come in and they gave him a liter of saline and sent him home. We are rural and live an hour from the oncologist and any hospitals. When we got home that evening, it took him

Advice on tablets if liquid thyroxine is still unavailable.
Hi all Having seen my GP today to discuss the lack of liquid thyroxine, she tells me that they cannot just discontinue providing it on the NHS as there are several patients that can't take thyroxine in any other form. It seems it is all cost related and pharmacies don't want to order it and be out

Further advice please
As mentioned in an earlier post, I will be entering into deliberations this coming week with my oncologist and our Nuclear Medicine Team to determine my next therapy steps. As previously noted, I am currently on Cabazitaxel which is suspected to be failing due to rising PSA after three cycles. Options

Advice Please
Currently assessing efficacy of Cabazitaxel and possible next steps. Future options could include, Radium 223, Pluvicto, other. Also, Dr has put Carbolatin on the table as a “stand alone” therapy i.e., not combined with Cabazitaxel. My question: Does anyone have experience/advice with respect to

low sodium rate
another worry has set in today after getting my last blood results! My sodium level is still low (128). Only one digit higher than 3 months ago. My GP says he’s not unduly concerned at this moment, and will re-test again in 3 months. From what I’ve googled this low sodium can affect the kidneys and
