I lost the control of my bladder and have a catheter about 12months ago is it likely that I have lost control of bowels l soil myself and go from veryloose stools to not going i take imodium when I am to loose

Both bladder and bowel problems are typical with MSA. As always there is a degree of variability as to exactly what goes wrong and how it deteriorates over time. there are lots of possible methods of dealing with these issues so do make sure you have help from the appropriate specialists. The MSA trust have some fact sheets and you can speak to one of their nurses on the phone for more advice.
