Is it OCD?
I’ve had issues with rumination and
anxiety
about
social
performance and COVID stress has caused me to be vigilant about disinfecting, washing hands (& nagging family members about their inefficient hand washing, even if we’ve just been at home).

Feeling drained
My anxiety this whole week has been at an all time high. Living in a very emotionally, verbally, & mentally toxic home has just become normal for me. But this week in particular i shared with my family that I’m looking for a new job. I feel like I’m not growing at my job anymore & just want to broaden

Mother of adhd diagnosed 3yo.
She is non verbal and has a lot of
social
anxiety
. We have provided a little outlet for her energy with her backyard renovation. Small trampoline, swing, jungle gym ect. Shes very active and an amazing climber. Happiest girl I've ever seen yet faces so many obstacles in life.

I know I have to do this. It’s the only real hope for moving beyond this virus. But having to do it also sparks off my anxiety and depression. This last year has been hard on both. Started out 2020 in the hospital for clinical depression and I’ve been working on it and the anxiety issues ever since

Anxiety again
Going another round with anxiety again. Woke me up last night. It’s so frustrating! I feel like a tight rubber band about ready to split. I have Gad and dysthymia which sometimes erupts into more serious bouts. I’m in therapy trying to work through it and have learned a lot about myself but I still

Excessive Sleeping?
Why do I feel like sleeping makes me feel better? I read in other places that sleeping is not recommended for anxiety and depression. But when I wake up from sleeping too much I feel more refreshed and relaxed. And in a better mood.

Anxiety disorder
I'm more aware at this point in time that many people of all ages, gender,
social
status etc, are living with an
anxiety
disorder. In my experience, life can be challenging when one has a mental health problem.

My second post: I want to learn from you. I want to finally belong
My cluster :
Social
anxiety
, obsessive compulsive personality disorder, GAD, depression(of course!), and ADD. I have been suffering for so long, some days I get a glimpse of what a normal perception of the word would look like, only to wale up the next day completely lost and unmotivated.

Stepping down on cymbalta is absolutely horrible
So I’ve been ditching the little balls inside for about 5 weeks now....I had tried cold turkey a while ago and I learned one of those cool lessons 👋. I am aware that I should expect a certain amount of haywire behavior and amped up defense mechs while I’m robbing my brain of this medication slowly..

cross taper from sertraline to duloxetine
For anyone that's been Duloxetine, (aka) Cymbalta, would appreciate feedback on how its worked for you, especially anyone with
social
anxiety
specifically..was on sertraline for two years, helped initially with generalized anxiety, but not depression so much ..after speaking to Dr, suggested a cross

Have you ever experience this immense feeling of loneliness?
Hi, I know it is illogical and yes I am attending therapy and taking medication. It has been working. However, this week has been bad for me. I am trying to wrap my head on my I feel lonely. I feel that my friends secretly hate me and that they are tired of me and my bullshit. I have become aware that

Life sentence
Does anyone else feel like depression and anxiety are life sentences. There are so many times I feel like I’m stuck with this. I feel as though I’m treatment resistant. I max out every antidepressant I get put on. They won’t give me stronger anxiety meds because of suicidal ideation. I hate having depression

Thrown into a new social situation for 2 weeks straight cured my social anxiety
I had severe
social
anxiety
after having gone to a new school and not being allowed in for the first three month due to the delights of ablism. So I had 0 friends. I went on this trip with my sister though we were split for some activities as I was with the 18+ lot.

Cymbalta for anxiety and depression and intrusive thoughts.
So my doctor got me started on Cymbalta for my anxiety. Was wondering how long it takes for it to start taking effect to make things better. I'm especially hoping they will start calmimg these intrusive thoughts that keep flashing into my head. I want to get back on with my life as this anxiety has crippled

Dysthymia
I have been dealing with depression for over 3 decades and have been diagnosed with dysthymia and have tried all the meds and things like cbt and read all the books and done one to one and group therapy but to no avail. I am looking to hear from anyone who has dysthymia and have experienced any treatment
