Enough with the ADHD!
Except… the depression and resulting
social
anxiety
are now so bad that I don’t leave the house other than to drive my kids (teens) to work and school. I won’t even go for a walk. I cry all the time. Life feels pointless.

Social anxiety relief and pain !
I just been diagnosed with
social
anxiety
, and in that moment I felt relief, pain and depression. More that 10 years, my self-confidence is very low, I am afraid and feel very nervous for any kind of socialization.

Anxiety at work
Without going into too much right now I can’t just quit my job at the moment and even if I could the
social

would still follow me to another job .

Thought of the day: Neurodiversity certainly isn't simple
But before that, it's more likely that a youth will be diagnosed with learning differences (previously termed "learning disabilities"), dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia,
anxiety
,
social
anxiety
disorder, depression (probably more likely in teens than in younger children), Obsessive Compulsive

Social Anxiety Going out with someone
Hi, I have extreme
social
anxiety
, I feel comfortable with people I already know, and so uncomfortable on the brink of a panic attack with those I don't.

IBS and wind
It seems to be worse as soon as I go out shopping or to
social
events. I wonder if
anxiety
is partly to blame. I keep a food diary and am really careful with my diet. Have tried probiotics and Colpermin. Has anyone tried Beano?

My experience with mental health and First Episode Psychosis.
The recovery has been characterised by a period of extremely low mood and depression, with high levels of
social
anxiety
and occasional agoraphobia.

Dealing with Social Anxiety...
TLDR: I am not getting what I need from my current friend group but am hanging on to them because I am scared that I'm not able to make new friends. Hi everyone! I've had anxiety in one form or another my entire life. When the pandemic hit my anxiety really ramped up, as I'm sure it did for many

My ADHD brain
For some background I do have some
social
anxiety
although it's gotten much better over the years. (4) In conversations I just can't maintain a proper structure. I find it hard to properly structure my sentences and get my point across without stumbling at times or just repeating, mumbling.

social anxiety?
when anyone, friends or family suggest a night out, my instant reaction is I don’t want to go. I get so anxious about what to wear, what I’m going to eat, who will be there, how will they be with me, how much it’s going to cost, it all seems too much trouble. All this while desperately wanting to connect

Duloxetine?
Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience of Duloxetine? One of my GP's mentioned it to me during treatment for my IBS. I've since done research and seen that Duloxetine is better for my kind of IBS. I'm not mega enthused about starting a new anti-depressant, but

How not to feel like a loser when success is depicted everywhere?
When you suffer from chronic depression and
social
anxiety
, I think the best we can hope for is a dull and boring life. Just getting rid of sadness and despair might be seen as a victory.

My Intro and Return
The
social
anxiety
is still there but I am no longer allowing it to rule my life. I am currently working full-time, renting an apartment, own a car, practice self care, keep activities on my calendar, meet people, do things, go places, and regularly see a therapist.
