Hi, My sibling was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. Adding to that I have to have a colonoscopy to be screened but am now having symptoms myself. I go this week for it but am struggling with anxiety right now. I can’t stop thinking about all the worst case scenarios and worrying about my sibling

colon cancer
I have had irregular bowel movements for as long as I can remember. Recently I noticed blood streaks in my stool. I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy this week but my anxiety is through the roof. My sibling was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and now I’m scared that I may have it as well. Any advice

colon cancer/scalp cancer link?
I read via google that colon cancer sometimes spreads to the scalp. Has anyone heard of or can confirm this? Reason I ask, I am awaiting scheduling for my colonoscopy (I'm in the USA, minimum 4-6 weeks wait to book an appointment). I am also having sores on my scalp and a potential enlarged lymph

OK - got another question -
Again, I'm 7 months post kidney transplant. My GFR is all over the place. Just. checked today and it is the lowest it has been since 2 months ago. During this first year of transplant, is that normal. Has anyone else experienced this? If you have, what did you do to raise it. I try to eat healthy

Bad news
Hi all, as some of you know I had a successful heart transplant in July 2020 and so far all has been good, more trouble from the rest of the old body but on Friday I received the devastating news that I have bowel cancer. 1 Year Anniversary (Nov 16)
Good evening, Yesterday, Nov 16, 2023, was the one year anniversary for my kidney transplant. She has soldiered forward without faltering as we’ve battled very

GI issues post transplant
I am now 7 months post kidney transplant. I was fortunate to never be on dialysis and had a living donor. Things are going just fine with good lab work and I feel great. I am back doing most of what I did prior to transplant. Now the reason for my question is that the only thing I have had issues

Abaris
Hello everyone, I'm still on the quest for wellness. I was wondering if anyone had tried Abaris which is a TRH . Quite new on the market I think. I'm piling the weight on as I can't treat my thyroid without reacting to the meds. I was looking further upstream at TRH. I live in the UK so probably wouldn't

Fenofibrates
Someone asked if Dr. Jones' book mentioned the use of fenofibrates.... yes, it does in several places. This might be a good book to have if you are considering using them. He is the leading expert on PBC. Hope it helps... The subject is discussed in the chapter for 'Treatment of PBC'. Many have been

PBC - liver transplant donors and blood group questions
Hi - I either read on this website or the PBC Facebook site in the last couple of weeks - referring to if potentially one day a liver transplant is needed, that being a specific blood group type can limit the number of potential donors you may have? I am the blood group Rhesus Negative and wondered
