Which vaccine have you received and how did that go??
Does your transplant center recommend a certain vaccine like Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson Johnson?? Which one would be the best for kidney transplant or all the same?

Blood in stool, curious
I just turned 40 and recently pooped a little hard thing with blood in the middle and a mucus tail. I fished it out and bagged it up. I have been constipated a while now but thought it was from a medication I'm taking. Now I'm a little concerned and curious if anyone can tell me it's nothing. I'm a healthy

Oxygen and Holidays
Hi, I know it’s possible to have a concentrator delivered to a holiday cottage. Can you tell me whether it is sometimes a problem with the cottage owners. I’m on the lung transplant list, but at the moment none are being done. I heard yesterday that it will be at least 2 months, until transplants are

How long after might I have a bowel movement?

Dangers of drinking alcohol with a kidney transplant ?
What are peoples experiences with drinking alcohol ? My son is 21 and doing very well 9 months post kidney transplant. I know he will feel peer pressure to perhaps imbibe on occasion. What are the dangers? I am worried he will make a bad decision and not much I can do about it.

Delighted to be still here after my sell buy date!!!!
Hi everyone. I haven't been on here for a while but I thought I'd just update you on my situation. In September my weekly Taxol chemo treatment was stopped as it was not working. I was told that I had about 6 months life expectancy. Despite an emergency hospital admission and subsequent palliative radiotherapy

A Happy Rebirthday message from Jaycee.
Many of you may remember Jaycee. She used to be a frequent contributor on this site. She has asked me to pass on a message. On this day in 2019, at the ripe young age of 68, Jaycee underwent her liver transplant The months leading up to that transplant was indeed a worrying time, full of uncertainties

Small frequent bowel movements.
Been having stools like this 3 times every morning since the pandemic started..... Now I’m freaking out thinking I have cancer if the bowels. Stool really mushy requiring a lot of wiping. Some times I notice spots of blood on the tissue. Anxiety through the roof.

Low Oxygen Levels
I’m getting very worried about my oxygen levels. I have chronic hypersensitivity Pneumonitis with Fibrosis. On 24 hour oxygen and on lung transplant list.
